They mobilized their director of emergency preparedness (who had an influenza outbreak playbook ready) ran simulations, improved #supplychains for products like eggs, and enlisted corporate employees to volunteer at the stores. It paid off. H-E-B was ready with a sound strategy and an unwavering response to the pandemic. I strongly believe that 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. The last few years- the geopolitical conflicts, supply chain disruptions like a ship stranded at the Suez Canal, shifting consumer demands, and more, have proved that we need to be on our toes. So why not meet our challenges halfway with pressure-tested strategies?
