You're facing delays in your product launch due to resource constraints. How will you overcome this obstacle?
Regular reviews and adaptations are crucial when navigating resource constraints. Encourage feedback from all team members to constantly assess the situation. Being open to adapting new methods and maintaining flexibility is key to overcoming unexpected challenges and ensuring the project remains on track despite hurdles.

You're facing delays in your product launch due to resource constraints. How will you overcome this obstacle?
Boosting communication is vital to quickly identify and remove blockers during a product launch. If there is any misalignment of goals or priorities, facilitating targeted communication, such as a quick sync-up meeting, can realign efforts and accelerate progress. This ensures all team members are on the same page and can move forward together effectively.

Struggling with communication breakdowns in your design and engineering teams on a tight deadline?
Having navigated numerous project deadlines, I have often seen communication breakdowns where the objectives of engineers and designers don't align. The key is ensuring everyone's goals support the overarching company objectives. To facilitate this alignment, regular meetings are crucial. If daily stand-ups are not enough, I recommend setting up brief, focused meetings with clear agendas and specific objectives. This approach not only clarifies immediate goals but also fosters a collaborative environment, easing tensions and enhancing productivity under tight deadlines.

You're launching a high-impact product feature. How do you prioritize scalability considerations effectively?
Having conducted over 100 technical diligences for companies, we understand the profound impact of scalability on operations, innovation, and valuation. When launching a high-impact product feature, it’s essential to integrate scalability from the outset. For market-testing features, I favor rapid, cost-effective solutions that quickly generate revenue and gather feedback. It’s crucial, however, to also have a roadmap for a scalable version ready to accommodate growth. This strategy ensures immediate market entry while preparing for future expansion.

You're facing technical hurdles in product design iterations. How will you overcome these delays?
When facing technical hurdles, my decision-making centers on time and cost for efficiency. I assess the issue's importance, determining whether it is crucial or just a nice-to-have. For critical problems, I explore faster alternatives that achieve similar results. This could involve simpler technologies, outsourcing, or scope adjustments. Prioritizing pragmatically ensures we manage resources effectively, balancing innovation with the practical demands of business.

Excited to announce Lagrange Labs' $13.2M seed round, led by Founders Fund, with support from Archetype, 1kx, Maven 11, Fenbushi Capital, Volt Capital, CMT Digital, Mantle Network Ecosystem Fund, and various angels. Read More: https://lnkd.in/gvxFPH_B Lagrange was founded almost two years ago with the vision of using zero-knowledge proofs to expand the design space of applications that could be built onchain. We saw a simple problem: Developers could not securely use historical or cross-chain state. The name “Lagrange” was inspired by mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange, who discovered Lagrange Points, positions of equilibrium in space between two celestial body systems. These points of equilibrium were the perfect analogy for trustless interoperability in crypto. While Lagrange has moved away from being a purely cross-chain focused company, the name remains, as does our goal of bringing equilibrium and stability to onchain applications. The original vision of secure interoperability still lives on within our State Committee protocol. As we’ve progressed, we have crystallized our mission: to unlock new types of data-intensive and cross-chain applications by enabling verifiable computation over blockchain data at a ‘big data’ scale. The way we achieve this is through our hyper-parallel ZK Coprocessor. Over the past few months we’ve hit a number of major milestones as a company: • Launching Lagrange State Committees as the first ZK AVS on @eigenlayer mainnet. Hitting over $5 billion in restaked ETH after only 3 weeks. • The Lagrange State Committees have generated over 30,000 state proofs and have finalized 2,000,000 blocks. • Launching our first ZK Coprocessor testnet, ‘Euclid’. We’ve currently generated over 400,000 proofs at a growing rate of 127,000 proofs per week. • Launching our infrastructure as a decentralized network with 40+ node operators. • Our first paper, Reckle Trees, authored by Charalampos Papamanthou, Shravan Srinivasan, Nicolas Gailly and Andrus S. from our team was accepted into both CCS’2024 and SBC’2023. More to come soon 🤫 None of our progress would be possible if it wasn’t for the team behind Lagrange. A special thank you to the whole Lagrange family whose tireless work brought us to this point. Thank you to all of our friends, partners and investors who have supported Lagrange in getting here. We have an ambitious roadmap ahead of us this year and we look forward to achieving it all of you on our team.

More fun with RLM! I've been setting up a proof of concept. To get the most basic use out of RLM, you have to set up things call Context Definitions, Pricing Procedures, and a Discovery Procedure. The nomenclature they use as you do this is wildly confusing: for the Product Discovery Pricing Procedure, you have to select a template for “Product Discovery Pricing Procedure.” But for the default Discovery Procedure (a different thing, for a different purpose, on a different object), you select a template for “Default Pricing Discovery Procedure.” Got that? As you figure all this out, document what you're doing. You need to refer to the steps you took a multitude of times as you iron out the kinks. Once that's all set up, then extending the functionality introduces new complexities. You can edit your Pricing Procedure to customize the price waterfall, which is pretty cool, because you can set up decision nodes like you do in flow. I did this and it miraculously worked on the first try. The support engineer I've been working with has been superb. Do open cases and rely on them. They're learning along with you, but they know more than you do, and really help. Change page layouts with the Lightning Page Layout Editor; no use messing with the layout in Classic. If you want my documentation, let me know. You won't find the steps explained well in SF's help site.

Anthropic's Claude can now use computers like we do - clicking, typing, and working with actual software. Not through APIs. Through the actual interface. For our manufacturing & retail clients asking about AI automation - this is HUGE. AI that can actually help with any existing software stack, not just integrate through complex APIs. • Uses standard software like a human (still learning but improving fast) • Crushing it at coding tasks 93.7% 0-shot (This is fantastic) • Faster, cheaper version (Haiku) coming this month While everyone's hyped about the tech, we're already mapping out practical applications for our clients. Real automation. #AI #Innovation #Manufacturing #Retail #DigitalTransformation https://lnkd.in/geFkjfr6

2025 will be all about Physical AI. BrightAI is putting it to work to fix America’s pipes, power poles, and sewer drains, which are crumbling under the pressure of climate change. With 250,000 sensors deployed on infrastructure across the company, they are collecting data from the physical world to help blue-collar industries be proactive and spot infrastructure flaws before they become disasters. After bootstrapping to $80M in revenue, the company is just now taking on VC dollars to grow its Stateful OS platform. Let's talk for a minute about how Harbor compares to Nanit on pricing. Ultimately, Harbor comes with a 10" tablet and beats every other product on functionality many times over... but here are a few points on pricing. Nanit offers two tiers (as of spring 2024) at $120 or $300 per year PER CHILD. If you have two children in their premium tier you're looking at nearly TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS across two years! Harbor has one flat membership per household. For just one child, Harbor is just $33 more across two years than Nanit's camera, floor stand, and Memories plan. It comes with a dedicated 10" tablet and a level of reliability, security, and quality that no WiFi camera app based system can match.

What is cap table debt & how does it hurt startup founders? Cap tables need to reflect all current and potential shareholders (which includes investors who signed a SAFE or convertible note). Because of the complexity of vesting schedules, repurchase rights, options vs. shares, the variable nature of ownership calculations with convertible instruments, etc., the simple spreadsheets used by most founders are woefully inadequate. We dive deep into the topic of cap table debt and show why founders need to stop using spreadsheets to track your startup cap table in our webinar on "Best Practices with Founder Equity and Cap Tables". You can watch a replay of this webinar here: https://lnkd.in/giHWZkWS

Here’s the problem: if you don’t know how to design optimal HUMAN interactions (I’m looking at you Instacart - honestly the worst example of outsourcing I’ve ever encountered), then you shouldn’t be designing AI interactions. Hiscox USA is another example of an incredibly poorly designed bot. The technology can only do what you tell it to do, and if you designed wrong, I’ll be super curious to see if the technology can fix itself despite the humans’ errors in design.

There's a growing narrative that advanced startups should cozy up to accelerators, but let’s get real about this. If you're doing well with validation, revenue, and team, why surrender control to a program that demands your loyalty? Flexibility is key. Some accelerators now recognize that limiting engagement to part-time arrangements, while still reaping the benefits of mentorship and networking, is the future. Sure, they may offer funding and resources to scale, but is it truly worth the costs? Founders need to ask themselves: Are we really gaining traction or just going through the motions to please investors? Startups shouldn't feel like they need validation from an accelerator; they should demand respect for their achievements and authority over their visions. What do you all think? Let's debate this respectfully. Also, if you want to unpack the essentials of scaling without burning out, check out my newsletter, 5 Minute Founders - it distills business wisdom into digestible nuggets. https://lnkd.in/dY__2pZQ
