My Ph.D. in transformative studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies is a degree offering extensive training in the theory and practice of transdisciplinary research, and focuses on solving complex and interconnected social problems.

My dissertation, titled "Integral Healthcare Ecology: Subtext, Sustainability, and Solutions in the Story of Modern Healthcare" focuses on how integrative/integral culture within an allopathic healthcare model can be supportive of reducing chronic illness and its cost through promoting patient responsibility and collaboration between patient and provider. My inquiry also places emphasis on how technology can be used in an integrative healthcare culture to support such collaboration and the development of awareness and responsibility.

I am currently working on a documentary film based on my dissertation research titled "Better Healthcare."

Full Sail University’s 7-Month Film & Video certificate program was an intensive and immersive program that provided me with foundational knowledge in motion picture history, screenwriting, pre-production, production, and post-production. My studies further included media creation using Adobe Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, designed to prepare me for the world of film production.
