- PresentAnother organization I take pride in is 100 Strong. 100 Strong is a Freshman Retention resource program funneled through the Bruce D African American Cultural Center. Our main goal is to educate the minority community on the importance of utilizing resources on our campus in order to insure a successful completion of a 4 year program with a degree. As Recruitment Co Chair it is my job to, basically, to develop a relationship with the students and increase the numbers.

-In the Spring of 2011 I decided to join National Black MBA Association(undergrad chapter at UIUC) in order to gain more experience regarding professionalism and broaden my network. By the end of the semester i was awarded with the distinct honor of the chapters Most Dedicated Member. I saw the value in our professional events and overall affairs so i decided to run for Advertising Chair, in hopes that i would be able to encourage fellow students about the positives of joining NBMBAA. I saw the value in our professional events and overall affairs so i decided to run for Advertising Chair, in hopes that i would be able to encourage fellow students about the positives of joining NBMBAA. In the Fall of 2011 i can officially say we have acquired several new members, underclassmen who have expressed interest in wanting to develop themselves not only professionally but also broaden their knowledge of business affairs. This year (Fall 2012) our number has reached 20 new members. The goal for this semester is all about retention and making the program beneficial for all its members
