About

Husband, father, educator...the development of a happy family, the improvement of the lives of others, and leaving the world a better place have been my life focus. [email protected]

I have served as a superintendent, an assistant superintendent for learning services, a principal, an associate principal for instruction, and an assistant principal in diverse communities throughout the Midwest. I have also served as a as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame.

I possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Teaching from Benedictine University coupled with a Master’s Degree in School Administration and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola University. I have had significant training in the area of leadership development and instructional improvement including participation as a trainee, trainer, and mentor at the Indiana Principal’s Leadership Academy and the Harvard Principal’s Center.

I have also served as a Regional Representative and Educational Consultant for Solution Tree, A+ Educators, and my own company, School Improvement Consulting. While in those roles, I have been fortunate enough to stay on the cutting edge of educational reform by working directly with Dr. Rick DuFour, Dr. Robert Marzano, and Dr. Doug Reeves to transform educational programs across the country.
