  • New Venture Challenge Startup Accelerator Program at the University of Chicago

    Accepted into the startup accelerator program at the University of Chicago to compete for venture capital funding as a startup founder. Accepted two years in a row with fit tech startups Recreash and Amenity Yoga. Grubhub & Foxtrot are notable companies that went through this accelerator program.

  • Solar Powered Infant Incubator - Team Lead

    Designed an infant incubator prototype that can maintain 33°C while operating on 12 W or less and cost under $300 for all materials used. The incubator can run for 12 hours without interruption using a 50 W photovoltaic panel and a 70 amp-hr car battery to supply energy. The incubator was sourced from local materials to be used in low resource maternity wards in Uganda to prevent against neonatal hypothermia.

The analysis includes estimates of the prospective amount of electrical energy that can be produced from wind power by taking into account factors such as population density, wind turbine power potential, costs, and wind speed data. Conclusions are then…
