What are the latest email marketing trends for healthcare content?
There is one part of the journey, health marketers need to consider their ability to engage - Patient Support. For a lot of clients, the job stops at the written script, we're now seeing more attention being placed on ways to support patient adherence. Content that helps patients live with their condition vs treat their condition helps them build long term behaviors that drive better outcomes. It also helps the brand show up in a new way for the patient that helps develop a stronger bond between the patient and brand.

How can you maximize a sponsor's impact in Content Marketing?
An early place to get tripped up in establishing sponsorships is in the details of what the brand and sponsorship expectations and duties are. I recommend developing a sponsorship playbook that establishes your standards and practices around content development, approval, activation and measurement. The manual can also include brand basics including objectives, voice, marks, and customer demographics/media audiences. This playbook can become the foundation of the sponsorship relationship and evolve as technology, platforms and business needs change.

Aligning to company objectives and analyzing past initiatives to identify what is working to do more is all table stakes. Part of scaling is to look outside your organization into your competitive set or complementary verticals to identify new trends to watch or test so that you’re looking for fresh ways to engage your audience.

To help foster a culture around innovation, consider developing a learning agenda to map out what you want to learn so that you can align your test and learns to your brand objectives. When designed thoughtfully, you can build a plan that provides a rich longitudinal data set to help drive new content.
