Purpose: The Organizational Checkup is a diagnostic tool designed to assess the current state of your business across key areas. Timing: It's typically completed before the first EOS session (Focus Day) to establish a baseline and identify areas for improvement. Structure: The checkup consists of a series of questions covering the Six Key Components of EOS: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction. Participation: All leadership team members should complete the checkup individually to get a comprehensive view of the organization. Scoring: Each question is answered on a scale, usually from 1 to 5, indicating how well the organization is performing in that area. Results: The compiled results provide a snapshot of the organization's strengths and weaknesses from multiple perspectives. Discussion catalyst: The checkup results serve as a starting point for meaningful discussions during the Focus Day session. Benchmark: It establishes a baseline against which future progress can be measured as EOS is implemented.
