It was such a privilege to meet Ali Ghodsi at the IIT Bay Area Alumni Association Leadership Conference! I guess we have similar hairdos and dressing styles. I swear I was shocked when someone came up and said they were looking forward to my keynote! At least a half dozen folks complemented me after the keynote 😅. I should’ve just walked around pretending to be Ali and told the execs and VCs to check out this hot new startup - FeatureByte 😂 On a more serious note .. what Ali and Databricks have built is nothing short of amazing. They’ve established themselves as the obvious choice for #aiml workloads for the enterprise. It’s such a powerful foundation for companies like ours to build upon. It’s no surprise that the majority of our customers/prospects are on Databricks. The opportunity is super exciting! Some key takeaways from Ali’s keynote: - No surprises that data is the foundation for AI/ML. Unless businesses get their data right, they won’t benefit from the potential and promise of #AI. - Most of the current AI projects within enterprises are simple and focused on chatbots and search. The real potential in the medium term is the productivity gains from AI, where tasks are accelerated and the mundane is taken care of by AI. - While we need to acknowledge that AI can be used to cause harm, fears of AI taking over all jobs and making humans servile to it are totally overblown. Ultimately, AI won’t deliver any value unless humans are the ones using it. - The market priced all the benefits from AI to materialize in 2023 itself (not the first time that’s happened!) 2024 was the year of realizing that just like every other technology, it’ll take years for the transformation from AI to take shape. 2025 will likely lead to the trough of disillusionment. - Just like with dot-com and the cloud, there will be companies that emerge in the next few years that will ultimately become trillion dollar ones in the next decade. We’ll all look back in disbelief that these behemoths were indeed small startups at one point. It was such a blast attending the conference. Caught up with old friends and made so many new ones! I had read about the Zeigarnik effect and its application in products. However, it only recently dawned on me that it very well explains the calm and joy writing posts on my blog has given me over the years. Many professional and personal gurus have advocated writing to bust stress and drive clarity. This psychological explanation helps reinforce it. So, I wrote a blog post about it. What else? Huge core point that in AI it's easy to raise but daunting to sustain, and I totally agree that it's about the relationships and client-led product development. The LLM tech is already amazing and growing, so the value-opportunity is everywhere -- there's just so much work to be done in bringing it to non-tech companies and immediately making it useful for them. I think there's a huge tech gap in all production I see, and Gen Z is the best suited for this learning and adapting to bridging the 99% of companies forward

Sharing my Second Milestone project at NextLeap Product Management Fellowship 💡 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸: As a Product Manager for Review and Ratings at Zomato, my goal was to increase the number of text reviews on the food delivery vertical. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟭: We delved into the food delivery space in India, explored how reviews benefit the business, and identified our key product outcome: increasing the Percentage of Reviewers. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟮: We focused on a target segment, understanding their goals and pain points related to writing reviews through surveys and 1-1 interviews. This helped us pinpoint the true problem. Through these milestones, I spent quality time in the Problem Space understanding the true problem as to why users are not writing reviews. In the upcoming milestone project, we'll dive into the Solution Space where we come up with solutions that solve this problem. We will prioritize amongst solutions and finalize metrics to measure success. #productmanagement #NextLeap #C26

This involves tokenization, where the text is broken down into smaller units called tokens. Each token can be a word, part of a word, or even a character. 2. I recently received an admissions offer from ISB along with personal invites to look into the MBA programs at MIT, NYU, and Yale. These experiences are more than just highlights of my journey, they are rays of optimism and evidence that following your passions is worthwhile ❤️ This is not a narrative about me, it's a story for everyone who has ever been told they don't measure up... with a board exam score of 65%, which many said would restrict my options. However, here I am, with admissions to some of the world's most prominent universities. My journey wasn't usual. Rather than limiting myself to academics, I immersed myself in everything I loved, including sports and music. These interests were frequently viewed as diversionary, but in actuality, they were the precise factors that molded my particular tale. They imparted to me knowledge that a classroom could not: resilience, creativity, and leadership. Among my accomplishments were placing second in the CBSE Chess Clusters, winning at the Panorama Gaming Awards, leading the house cricket team to victories, and receiving awards for music mixing. I was the only student in my school to achieve perfect aptitude ratings. Even yet, I was called a failure since I received a 65% on my boards, and my successes were all written off as unimportant because they had no bearing on my academic score. Our society tends to be fixated on perfection at times, viewing a high score as the sole means of achievement while sometimes overlooking the depression and anxiety it causes. However, life is far more abundant than a score. Not only are the admissions from ISB and the invites from MIT, NYU, and Yale personal successes, but they also send a strong, unambiguous message to anyone who has ever had self-doubt because they don't match the stereotypical definition of success. If you're out there feeling boxed in by scores or societal expectations, let this be a reminder: You are capable of incredible things. Your journey might not look like everyone else's, and that's okay. In fact, it's more than okay—it's wonderful👏 Cheers to every person who dares to chase their vision! Even though your path isn't straight, it is still yours and has a lot of potential.
