Your team members are skeptical about CSR activities. How can you engage them effectively?
Skeptics of CSR often view it as a corporate white-washing exercise. The reality is - when embraced with the purist strategic mindset - that CSR is the flag bearer of conscious capitalism. The embodiment of conscious capitalism is aspirational. If CSR strategies are intentionally designed three dimensionally to consider people, processes and plant, then the company's baseline rational for existence will shift from maximizing shareholder wealth at a moment in time to optimizing stakeholder value creation over time.
