“Danny was an extremely effective and motivating manager in the 2 years I worked with him. He had an insatiable desire to learn about new products and services, and matched these with his exemplary customer service skills in order to drive revenue and meet his high standards for customer satisfaction. He also encouraged each employee to innovate in a manner that suited their particular style, a positive trait not often found in management in the financial sectors. This allowed each of us to maximize our potential not only as salespeople, but also consultants. I consistently scored well across company metrics, and much of that was due to Danny's guidance I would highly recommend any employer give Danny a strong look for a position in management or sales, if the opportunity arose.”

The Effect of Block Ownership on Excess Returns of Firms: Empirical Evidence
In the process of review for publication
I analyze the impact of the level of blockholders on firm performance. Specifically, I estimate the relationship between the level of firm blockholders and excess returns of the firm using the Fama-French Three Factor Model and six different group categories of block ownership level. The results of this study indicate that there exists a non-monotonic relationship between blockholders level and firm performance. I find relatively higher performance for firms with moderate levels of blockholders…
I find relatively higher performance for firms with moderate levels of blockholders and relatively lower performance for firms with low (or no) blockholders or high level of blockholders. This suggests that there may exist an optimal level of blockholders.
