There's a business out in the Data Center Development world struggling. (it's not a client of ours btw 🤣 ) On the face of it, they appear busy- because they are!! Demand and opportunity for them is significant. The message from "the top" is to not spend money on agencies. Their talent team cannot keep up with demand (and I can see why). But for whatever reason, they are not prepared to sort a solution which delivers the talent required. I appreciate this can be complex. Meanwhile, pressure is placed on the shoulders of the Hiring Managers. They are working silly hours. It's not sustainable. A number I know are at breaking point. If I was a betting man, their attrition this year will be 15-20%. It's already double compared to last year. It's. Just. So. Avoidable.
