Is your code coverage a mystery? Not sure what code coverage even is? It's especially important if you've been customizing your Salesforce instance. The minimum code coverage required by Salesforce is 75%. Fall below that and you can't deploy new code to your org. This doesn't impact everyone... until it does. Keeping up with this means less long-term maintenance and better org stability. It also means that when you engage a Salesforce Partner for a project, we don't have to include increasing your coverage to an acceptable level just to get started. What is code coverage? It's the percent of code that is covered by test classes. What is a test class? It's code that tells code how to work and validates if it is correct. Essentially all of this together tells Salesforce that the code is working properly - so it is very important.
