How can Thought Leaders maintain their energy and enthusiasm for work?
I always thought about boundaries as the parameters that we establish in our relationships, both personal and professional, that support our optimal levels of health, well-being, and productivity. Boundaries are continuously set and reinforced. It is incumbent as leaders to establish and re-evaluate the physical, emotional, and mental boundaries we set.

How can personal coaching help you start your own business?
When I hired a coach for the first time, it opened the door for me to gain the confidence and skills to launch my coaching business. My coach served as my wise counsel, my sounding board, and my GPS who helped me identify where I was starting, where I wanted to go and to create the path to get there. Most importantly, my coach helped me tackle those inner critics who were getting in my way. Even though I am a coach, I have continued to have a coach. She has made all the difference in my entrepreneurial pursuits and personal successes!

How can you show gratitude to your colleagues?
Treating everyone with the utmost levels of respect and dignity are basic core values. In order for folx to feel as though they belong, that they matter and that you care about them as human beings you must always treat folx with respect. And when we don't, because we are human and make mistakes, we immediately take responsibility, own it, and make necessary adjustments and changes.

How can you show gratitude to your colleagues?
Giving and receiving feedback requires vulnerability. How much am I willing to put myself out there and how much am I willing to expose myself? Giving feedback is providing information. Information that can help the receiver be more effective in their role and as a professional. Giving feedback, both positive and constructive, shows you care about someone's success.

LGBTQ+ Hiking and Social MeetUp Group Litchfield County CT
Organizer
- PresentI organize and facilitate a local LGBTQ+ Hiking and Social Event Group. My goal and hope for this group is to bring the LGBTQ+ community together with folx who want to enjoy our beautiful outdoors in Western CT and to meet and build fun connections. It is a safe space where folx from all walks of life, shapes and sizes, and fitness levels come together to explore the amazing trails right in our backyards. The pace of the hikes will be set by the slowest hiker (and that will probably be me)…

It is a safe space where folx from all walks of life, shapes and sizes, and fitness levels come together to explore the amazing trails right in our backyards. The group offers opportunities for folx who want to get in better physical shape, build confidence and do so amongst an inclusive community. https://www.meetup.com/western-ct-lgbtq-hiking-meetup-group/
