All too often, I have encountered a cavalier attitude and/or a total lack of attention paid to the 'offloading' aspect what IAM can offer to an organization's security posture. For example, I was once astonished to meet with a CISO at a major bank who had recently boomeranged to the bank after 18 months. He was very pleased that his credentials were intact! There did not seem to be a recognition or security exposure concern with this fact. 🥴

Marketing committed to Sales that they would deliver these tools in parallel to new training.
