What do you do if your multitasking skills are hindering lead generation productivity?
Eliminate. Simplify. Automate. Delegate. Be intentional with your output, and focus on efficiency. Five things done with full intention, attention, focus, and consistency is better than fifty things done with yourself only half-committed while focusing on other things. Be actionable with your priorities. If it’s taking up too much time, limit the time you commit to it and assess your results over a period of time. If it’s limiting your output, try a new way of doing it that flows with your existing routine. Build foundational processes over time, trial, and error.

What do you do if potential clients raise objections?
Don’t avoid the objection, address it. Calling out the objection actually has the chance to create a positive outcome. First, it shows the client that you’re listening, and that you’re listening with intention enough so that you’ve made the effort to learn more about their objection. Try and understand the ‘why’ more than the ‘what’. What’s are merely just byproducts of why’s. Be genuine in wanting to understand WHY they’re objecting and face it head on. The worst thing you can do is ignore an objection and pivot elsewhere. Objections can lead you right to the finish line if you choose to see it as a way THROUGH the mountain instead of looking for ways AROUND it.

What do you do if your pitch is falling flat?
If your pitch is falling flat, take a step back and reset. There’s nothing good that’s going to come out of continuing down a path that isn’t delivering value to the client side. Refocus the conversation to the client; Ask questions, and be deliberate with open-ended questions that will provide valuable answers. Use that insight you’ve gained to redirect your messaging and drive value back towards the client. Be intentional even when you feel like you’ve lost your way, and always make sure you’re keeping the client engaged. It’s an imperfect science to nail your pitch every time, so be ready to adjust when you find yourself swimming upstream.
