Impact Sports is working to protect youth athletes from concussion and traumatic brain injury. Weve designed and tested tackle as well as soft shell helmets that outperform top selling helmets on the market. Our technology is patented and performs unlike any helmet on the market. With "off the shelf" materials, we were able to outperform the VICIS zero one in FE Testing. VICIS blew through tens of millions of dollars to get to that point. We did it in 3 years and spent $250,000. With that said, raising money to move forward has been tough. We'd love to hear your suggestions/referrals for anybody interested in joining us as we work to better protect athletes. *****This is one test, at 18 ft/sec. The lower the SI, or severity Index, the better. Max "passing" score is 1200 (very poor score). This would qualify us for a 5 star helmet.....and we didn't test our "game ready" materials!

I know, I did play this simulator at the Re-Union resort, Nicklaus course, Orlando just in February. Hydraulic system changes the lie, uphill, downhill, sidehill and also fairway bunker and greenside bunker. Don't forget the rough and the first cut. It gets you thinking. These newest feature makes this simulator #1.

There are reasons why GOLFZON has been dominating the “screen golf” (indoor golf) industry in Korea ever since such industry was created by…GOLFZON nearly 25 years ago. Korean consumers are very difficult to please, to begin with, and have the tendency to quickly change the way they spend their disposable income. While the number of rounds played in green grass courses and $$ spent on golf equipment/accessories are trending down in Korea today (compared to 2021/22) indoor golf has experienced no such setback. It’s tough to be an industry leader for this long anywhere, anytime, in any industry. Once you play a round on a GOLFZON system, it is tough to go back. It’s just that sticky.

Golf is a game of finesse, not brute strength. It's not about how much you can bench press or squat, but rather your ability to rotate. These multi-planar movements, as Sam Miller called them, involve moving through multiple planes of motion. It's these rotational movements that truly matter. The ability to generate force, speed, and acceleration for these movements is what will translate onto the golf course. If you're looking to improve your game, perhaps it's time to re-evaluate your workout routine. Remember, it's not about lifting the heaviest weights, but rather, mastering the art of rotation. Is the cycling group ride dead? There was a time when group rides weren’t just about speed or Strava segments. They were about belonging, mentorship, and learning the unwritten rules that transformed a bunch of riders into a cohesive peloton. Today, that tradition is fading. Too often, group rides feel chaotic—like a race, not a shared experience. In the past, experienced riders would pass down their knowledge, teaching newer cyclists the art of holding a steady line, rotating smoothly, and reading subtle signals. It was about creating a safe, respectful environment where every rider contributed to the group’s rhythm. The ride was a school, and the goal was to be part of a collective, not the strongest individual. But now, we see less mentorship and more riders focused solely on performance. The result? A breakdown in group etiquette—overlapping wheels, inconsistent pacing, endless shouts of “hole!” for minor bumps, and gaps that leave half the group sprinting to catch up. If you’re an experienced rider, consider taking on a mentorship role. Ride next to someone new, pass down those core skills, and show that cycling is about community as much as competition. Let’s revive the tradition of group riding as a place to learn and grow, not just to flex fitness or ego. Next time you’re on a group ride, remember: the goal isn’t to prove you’re the fastest but to ride with skill, respect, and teamwork. BIKE FITNESS COACHING IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE FIRST OFFERING OF OUR NEWLY REVISED 3-DAY BIKE FITTING COURSE Bend, Oregon – 8/15/2024 COURSE OVERVIEW Bike Fitness Coaching is passionate about teaching bike fitting and we are always working on ways to improve our courses. We have recently revised our 3-day bike fitting course significantly to improve the organization and content of this course, changes that we believe will enhance the student’s learning experience. This Zoom-based course now has a modular structure and is divided into two main parts. The first part of the course covers background materials and exercises that must be completed and turned in prior to the start of the course. Topics that we cover in the background material include: (1) Basic Parts of a Bicycle; (2) Tools Required to Adjust Bicycles During a Bike Fit; (3) Bike Sizing; (4) Cycling Relevant Human Anatomy; and (5) Key Measures in Bike Fitting and Software Used to Measure Them. Part two of the course provides a detailed look at the three phases of our bike fit process. Topics included in this part of the course include shoe analyses, cleat positioning, and pedal stance; (2) crank length determination; (3) saddle analyses and positioning; and (4) cockpit adjustments and positioning. Most of the course time (SAT/SUN) will be focused on discussing the module materials that describe our bike fitting process. During these two days students conduct live bike fits over Zoom.   DATES FOR NEXT COURSE OFFERING The next 3-day Bike Fitting Course is scheduled for September 27, 28, 29 (Friday – Sunday) and will be ZOOM-BASED.
