It's caused consternation on Instagram, but I think this is a really smart use of AI to generate imagery and edit content from Pentagram and Paula Scher no less. The breakdown of how it's done is nice to see. Provided that legal and ethical issues are given due consideration, there is huge scope in this space for generating brand assets in this way. #branding #ai #digitaldesign

MathWorks plans to support the Object Management Group’s SysML v2 standard. Having recently transitioned from state government to @CGI, I personally understand the challenges agencies face. Connecticut uses GovQA to handle state agency FOIA requests. It's an awful systems for a variety of reasons, but not in the least because it creates structural hurdles that make filling public records requests vastly more challenging. Today, I’m proud to announce the launch of our collaboration with the Partnership for Public Service to enhance their Agency Performance Dashboard.   This critical tool now provides a comprehensive snapshot of more than 30 major federal agencies, offering insights into workforce composition, employee experience, budgetary resources, and information-technology maturity. Timely release with the announcement of the Chinese export bans on gallium, germanium, and antimony. We need a coordinated inter-agency strategy that begins at the White House to protect the critical supply chains that underpin our national and economic security. We need to prioritize and unlock investment in strategic domestic scale up of key resource and material refining and production capabilities for our critical defense needs. We need to do a better job of anticipating retalitory export bans targeting our national security by thorough supply chain and capacity gap mapping of critical resources, materials, inputs, technology, infrastructure, workforce, and capabilities. We need to ensure that any defense stockpiling is strategic, resilient, and flexible in both procurement and returning material to the market. We must also ensure that it is not providing an economic windfall to our adversaries nor dependent on our adversaries downstream capabilities. We need to provide resources for workforce training and redeployment to support the re-emergence of domestic mining, processing, refining, and manufacturing industries. We need to close loopholes or waivers that allow adversaries to continue to exert significant influence or control in our defense industrial base supply chains. Mineral security is national security!

Who doesn’t love some wonderful Wednesday news - especially when it positively impacts the world we live in!? Today we were awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD) to support the agency’s modernization efforts and its mission to protect human health and the environment. This is a fantastic piece! My colleague, Yvette Wolfe, a senior lead scientist on Booz Allen Hamilton's Learning & Development team, recently spoke with Charter to discuss essential AI skills and how companies can cultivate them among their non-technical employees. According to a report by Microsoft and LinkedIn, essential AI skills include the ability to use generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot.
