After generating 8-figures for agencies with paid ads and coaching hundreds of agency owners, one thing is clear: There’s a noticeable separator between agencies scaling to $200k, $300k, $500k+ months and those that don’t… And almost always, the problem isn’t your CAC. Yet I consistently hear questions like: > How do I lower my CAC? > How do I lower my CPL? > How do I book more calls? > How do I increase the quality? > How do I increase my show-up rate? Valid questions—but often the wrong ones. Because most of the time, these questions don’t align with the actual goal of the person asking. Example: Let’s say these are your numbers: Current MRR: $27,000 CAC: $1000 Monthly Retainer: $1500 Retention: 3 Months Avg LTV: $4500 Monthly Ad Spend: $6000 If your goal is $100k/month, which gets you there faster? A. Lowering your CAC by 20% from $1000 to $800 or B. Spending 3x more on ads Well, Option B has 12x more leverage than Option A. Here’s the math: Option A: Adds 1 additional client per month ($4,500 in LTV) Option B: Adds 12 additional clients per month ($54,000 in MRR) ^^ This right here is what stops so many from hitting their goals. 🚩🚩🚩Ad agency contracts that AREN'T month-to-month are a total grift.   We all know why they do it ➡️ Predictability   But the best don't build predictability with lengthy contracts. They do it by bleeding quality.   Be wary of agencies that lock you in...   In my experience, there's an inverse correlation between solid outcomes & lengthy contracts.

As a (kinda) competitor of Collin's, I can confirm he's on the mark, here. I follow him for a reason, after all. Incrementality testing is key, and while over-fragmentation of data is a risk, so too is inappropriate aggregation, which sweeps so much under the rug.
