Autonomy Research Pilot Initiative
- Present
Wrote and lead 1/3 of the largest proposal competitively funded under the Autonomy Research Pilot Initiative (ARPI) program. This piece of the project focused on developing novel machine learning methods and control systems for integrating deep-learned computer vision algorithms and real-time EEG processing for improved speed and accuracy in image labeling.

This was a key transition point, where the DoD autonomy community demonstrated its willingness to fund BCI research using autonomy research dollars.
So far, has resulted in 12 publications, and one proof-of-concept system, the Human-AI Image Labeler (HAIL).
