About
I'm your host, Corrales, the founder of Brand New Voices.
I'm a strategic consultant, coach, marketer, and educator dedicated to helping founders, leaders, coaches, consultants, creatives, and marketing experts understand their customers, users, technologies, and products from a human-centric lens.
I have a degree in journalism and creative writing, and help my clients understand and implement their brand, marketing, and storytelling in ways that connect with modern consumers who are seeking to align with companies making an impact in the world.
I do this using a powerful framework I've designed over the years called Human Marketing.
I've worked with a wide range of companies from Nike to the World Health Organization to Special Olympics, community banks, nonprofits, high-end jewelry designers, and tech startups.
More recently, I have worked with startups in emerging tech industries such as Web3 and AI.
Reach out to me on DMs if you want to chat about a strategy to humanize your marketing and get clarity on your mission and vision in a way that connects with your customers and partners.

What do you do if your remote team lacks trust and struggles with team dynamics in a Web3 career?
All of these things will erode trust, not build it, if the why is missing from the equation. Trust is rooted in mission, and if it’s not a purposeful mission with genuine urgency to solve pressing problems, the remote team will eventually lose trust in you. Encouraging team members to “share” but absent of a clear mission will erode confidence among teammates. You need urgency, authority, and a clear mission to gain trust from your team.

What do you do if you want to outpace the competition in the Web3 industry?
To outpace the competition in web3, first understand that you're playing a different game. Let them play the FINITE game, trying to keep up with each other on the latest meta; while you play the INFINITE game of meaning, impact, journey, and vision. Dedicate yourself to the spirit of everyday people and solve problems for, with, and in dedication to them. Revolve all your marketing around this focus. Leverage competitors by studying them and knowing when they can no longer serve their customers; then, through your offerings, bring those customers to new heights. Form strategic partnerships at the right time. To do so, understand CLV, customer journey, hero storytelling, and know that nothing is more powerful than the speed of trust.

What do you do if non-technical stakeholders struggle to understand complex Web3 concepts?
“Simplifying” is the wrong framing. It has nothing to do with simplification of the terminology. It has to do with framing it correctly to begin with. That means understanding and marketing deeper human benefits and values over shallow features of the tech. You have to get to the root system to explain the tree. Simplifying what’s visible only above ground is a futile attempt.
