The Fed continues to monitor data releases closely; here's what has the biggest impact on the 10-year Treasury. Over the past 24 months, Grant Emery of JLL's Research Team and Kensington Capital Advisors have tracked the volatility on release dates for a handful of key economic reports. Most notably on CPI and Nonfarm Payrolls, intraday volatility in 10-year UST yields are 75% and 55% higher than average, respectively.

This new chart from JLL Research shows that the Atlanta market ranks 7th in JLL’s 2024 U.S. Talent Hub analysis, which considers proximity to universities, job availability and wages, cost-of-living, and quality of life. Ranking behind Gateway markets only, the analysis illustrates that Atlanta not only generates a large number of graduates, it is also a magnet for graduates from other metros, making the market a true Talent Hub.
