At hackathons, students spend the weekend coming up with ideas, creating a product, and pitching it to employees at top companies building skills necessary for a career in the tech industry. Vassar Hackers also organizes trips to other tech events and career fairs in the area to provide students with more networking opportunities outside of Vassar.
