Ask not for whom the Taco Bell tolls; it tolls for thee. Yesterday, #Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff caused a stir when he brushed off questions about ServiceNow's momentum in the CRM space. "That’s like comparing Wienerschnitzel to McDonald’s", he quipped.  Woof. Here's why he's going to regret those words. Not just because his QoQ growth rate was poetically McDoubled by #ServiceNow (22% SN vs 11% SFDC). Not because his chief rival is projected to TRIPLE his own growth for next quarter(pounder). And not because Wienerschnitzel is actually outgrowing McDonalds by relative headcount. He'll regret it because SFDC is ~7% smaller than it was 18 months ago. Sales and Project Management roles have been hit especially hard, which doesn't bode well for building/selling their way into relief. Meanwhile, ServiceNow has grown a steady 15% YoY since Jan '22. With their human capital growth heading in the wrong direction, it'll take some serious mustard from Benioff to ketchup. It may be time to demote SFDC into the Fast Food cohort; their waning headcount seems to be a much better fit there just above Taco Bell. Will ServiceNow continue to eat Benioff's lunch? Or will SFDC's recent partnership with Workday prove to SuperSize their growth outlook? Who would have thought that Benioff's comment would actually be an insult to Wienerschnitzel? What a plot twist!

I want to extend a huge congratulations to the entire Tech TA function here at ServiceNow. There are too many names to mention but I will start with the leaders - Arina Iyar Belozor - Singer, Brianna Davin, Cameron McLaughlin, Charlene Doppee, Jeanette E., Jonathan Cary, Kelley Harris, Lin Pham, Salina Bimal, Surbhi Srivastava, Teresa Romo Leal, Therasa Cha (and to all the Managers/Directors, Recruiters, Sourcers, Coordinators, Market Intel, Branding, etc). Without going into specific numbers, I am so proud to share that Tech TA has hit or surpassed global hiring targets for the 3rd consecutive quarter. Yes, a three-pete! This has never happened back to back quarters before at ServiceNow, let alone 3 consecutive quarters. This is happening while hiring continues to scale and we are off to a strong start to make it 4 straight quarters of hiring success! This does not happen without a team approach. Likewise, huge thanks to our partners across the People org, Finance, Business Ops and, of course, the business itself. It is truly a collective success. The primary focus within TA is hiring the right people at the right time at the delight and inclusivity of all customers. While we will continue to inspire and challenge ourselves to improve, all major KPIs are showing we are achieving what we aim to do within talent acquisition. I am so proud of the team as they collectively work so hard and do so with integrity and empathy. We do focus on the #One-team mindset. Our success is the collective sum or the team. With success comes even greater expectations. We continue to raise the bar and challenge ourselves. I could not ask for a better group of people to be in this journey with, as you all likewise inspire me. Again, congrats on your success and cheers to further great experiences and results!

In-App Guidance (IAG) walkthroughs and prompts are powerful tools to meet users where they are in their workflow, providing vital information to help them succeed within Salesforce. But how do you determine whether to use a prompt or a walkthrough? Use a Prompt When: You need to update a field or section within Salesforce. Introducing a new process that comes with training. Use a Walkthrough When: The process involves multiple objects. Onboarding someone to the home page. Remember, you get three walkthroughs of up to 10 steps each. Regularly audit your walkthroughs to ensure they remain effective and relevant. #useradoption #salesforce #changemanagement
