There’s a super simple video asset most businesses need, but is rarely talked about. I call it a Checkpoint Video. Think about the big purchase decisions someone might make. Something like: 🏡 A contractor for a roof replacement 🩺 A doctor for a surgical procedure 🎥 A video strategist for marketing There’s typically a handful of steps before committing to working with someone. Form submissions, estimates/consults, proposals… Each step has two possible outcomes: 1) Move someone closer to “yes” 2) Lose someone’s interest The longer a sales process, the more likely someone is to fall off and lose interest. Enter: The Checkpoint Video These are short video assets designed to meet people at each “step” to keep them engaged and moving forward. Simple “thanks for scheduling, here’s what to expect next” videos can work wonders to make people comfortable. It’s another “touch” that people probably aren’t getting from other service providers in their market. The more engaged someone is with a business, the more likely they’ll go with them over someone else. Figure out the “checkpoints” in your clients’ sales processes, and make videos telling people what they need to hear. I've been using empathy maps a lot lately for lead gen. And they're sending conversion rates through the roof. Here's why: Revenue isn't shouting into the void anymore. People gravitate towards connections more than ever. I promise someone will choose a slightly inferior product from someone they trust over a better product from someone they don't. An empathy map helps you step into their shoes. It forces you to consider: What are they seeing? What are they hearing? What are they doing? What are they thinking? But it goes deeper. It makes you confront their: Pains - What's keeping them up at night? Gains - What results are they dreaming of? It's such a simple tool, but so effective. You stop focusing on your value prop. You start focusing on their needs. It's cost-effective. It's powerful. It's essential. We do this for every member of the buying committee. For outbound and active pipeline. The conversations become very different. The connections get way deeper. And all the revenue pains go away.  Because when you truly understand your prospect: Every word resonates. Every solution fits. Every objection melts away. That's the power of empathy in revenue generation. It moves away from closing deals. and into building trust. Whatever your revenue woes are right now ... Start with an empathy map. You'll see the results pretty quick. Don’t Just Focus On Clicks. Look, I get it, view-through attribution is messy and complicated in healthcare & click-thru attribution is clean and simple... but real life is complicated and clicks don't tell the whole story. Yes I know the C-suite might seem like they prefer clean click-thru data but when you can use view-through attribution to start getting accurate reporting on how impressions promote the brand and help move customers through the funnel, I promise you they will be happy to see view-through attribution data when it's driving revenue. Because clicks are never going to tell the whole story. Here's a pair of charts so you can see what I'm talking about, one before a paid social campaign, one after. See those big red bars on the second chart? No, you don't. Those red bars are the direct touchpoints from paid social where users clicked through for appointment conversions. That didn't happen, so if you just ran a click-through attribution report, you might conclude that paid social wasn't driving any revenue for you. But that would be a huge mistake because look at the jumps in search volume. That is a very real positive effect that paid social is having on your brand and on incoming volume, and if you're only looking at clicks, you're going to miss it. This is why it's so important to capture view-through activity in your reporting> so you can include it in your optimizations because if something is providing a benefit for your brand -- which paid social impressions absolutely do -- then you want to understand how much of an effect it's having, so you can make an efficient budget allocation with the best ROI. #healthcaremarketing

Who is in your target account buying groups? We asked 23 healthtech marketing leaders his question and as you can see there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen when it comes to who is the buying group. 👉 90% respondents indicated that 2-7 buyers are typically involved in the decision-making process, with 50% reporting 2-4 buyers and 40% reporting 5-7 buyers. 👉 25%  identified C-level executives as decision-makers 👉 Surprisingly, the CFO emerged as the most frequently involved C-Suite executive, with 57% of respondents indicating participation. While they are not necessarily the ultimate decision-maker, they significantly influence the decision. 👉 Chief Medical Officer, CIO, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Digital Officer all play significant roles, each involved in over 40% of cases. How our Tactical Redesign Lifted Conversions 78% for this Insurance Business Are underwhelming landing page conversions impacting your PPC performance? You’re not alone. We hear this from our clients every other day. Here’s how our strategic optimization process can improve your results. We unified fonts, aligned elements, organized images, and properly positioned the call-to-actions. 4️⃣ 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: The old, clunky form looked like it would take forever to complete. We changed it to a slicker, 2-step version that appeared way less intimidating. We suggested nice introductory text. And changed the organization of form questions so that it asked for visitors’ personal and contact details first. Before delving into questions about their property. 5️⃣ 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Everyone is using mobile right now! But people still aren’t optimizing their landing pages for mobile-first. It is vital for user experience. We also discovered we needed to make the company phone number bigger to suit the smaller screen. The re-designed page crushed the original. A 78.5% conversion lift was achieved by the SiteTuners team. While we slashed cost per acquisition to 29.67%. We don’t like guesswork. Which demographic do you serve? ↳ Be clear about the specialty and geo-demographics 3. What are the next steps to schedule an appointment? ↳ Make it easy for patients to book appointments online. Visitors should know they're in the right place within 3-5 seconds of landing on your site If it's not obvious, they'll leave and you'll lose what could have been a loyal patient

I’ve never really told you all what I actually do for a living, so here you go Pisgah Peaks Ventures builds & manages fractional marketing team for SMBs that are doing under 10-15 M ARR. The teams could be anywhere from 2 to 20+ individuals. Hiring for PT marketing roles can be a big drain on small businesses. We're wondering if a "why choose us" statement important website content? For example - we have a "Why Choose Us" on the Sterling Sky homepage (https://lnkd.in/gFQegTEW) that we HOPE is helping clients choose us as their internet marketing company. What factors compel a potential client to contact you?  ➡ Low barrier to contact?  ➡ What peers say about you?  ➡ How the website positions itself (thought leaders or experts?)  ➡ Something else? Is a "why choose us" statement more or less important than a client or peer testimonial?

I spent the last year making over 500 commercials for Kansas companies of all kinds. Here's five things I learned: 1. Most small businesses don't know their true competition. Just because an ice cream stand opened next to yours doesn't mean they're your competition. Stop worrying about the 100 customers they have and start worrying about the thousands who don't know you exist. 2. A social media post a day or week isn't enough. Change your standard by a factor of however much you want your business to grow, then find a way to post that much. 3. Keeping God in your business doesn't drive people away. God WANTS to bless you. Live a life of obedience and watch your business grow at an impossible rate. 4. Say no more. So many businesses say yes to everything out of fear of missing an opportunity. Learn to say no to the things, even good things, that aren't going to grow you as a business owner. 5. Be honest. Nobody wants another generic commercial. They want to see the passion with which the business was founded, so they can better vote with their dollars. Being honest will put you ahead of 90% of the businesses at your level.
