Luck Never Repeats Itself Again and Again! All believe things are happening due to us or others, but it's act of God really; No one immediately thinks so, but by experience one gets this answer; Act of God is miracle all cannot understand immediately but it will take time; By anger and stubborn nature of many make them what they think is true! It is difficult to win in an argument with an idiot as they always rely on self only; They believe they are only correct and all others are wrong in the world; As long as luck is there, they will be successful and happy to be so ever; Soon idiot becomes a dolt and goes ahead with one's adventure! When one is caught in a biggest trouble, he keeps silence and never talks anything; After sometime he again starts his usual game of arguing as if he is only right and all are wrong; Such a state of mind no education and experience can change them for the better; If change takes place, it is by the act of God or miracle only quite rare in the world! Idiots believe what they are saying is truth and others are wrongly saying all; Fate makes some to realize one's mistake very, very late in world life ever; They live in their own world of dreams and move their coin in the game and win by luck; But luck will not repeat its again and again like betting on the same horse in race!

Casting & Counting Our country is near the end of a presidential campaign filled with hate and joy. As a result, throughout the land the question is, “what will happen when the results are known.”  There is conversation and worry taking place in homes, churches, businesses, bars & restaurants and on social media. The concern goes from November 5th when votes are counted until they are certified on January 6th. These worries are brought on with one candidate saying he will not accept the results if he loses.  History recorded on January 6, 2021, how those who did not accept the results stormed the United States Capitol to stop certification of the election. We pray this will not happen in 2025…what an awful way to begin a new presidency and year. With all the noise a matter likely overlooked by Americans was action taken by the Congress to reform the casting and counting law originally enacted in 1887. In December 2022 Congress passed the Electoral Count Reform Act to provide much-needed clarity of the process related to electoral votes. It addressed the roles of the state and federal actors in that process and eliminated many of the most concerning potential weaknesses in the law. Below are provisions in the 2022 reform law. This information is offered to provide some comfort as we face casting and counting. ·       Requires that states appoint electors on Election Day in accordance with pre-existing law and eliminates the concept of “failed” elections. ·       Adds clarity to the process by which states officials ascertain and certify their election results to Congress. ·       Gives federal courts a clear and expedited role in ensuring that states send lawful certifications of election results to Congress. ·       Makes it absolutely clear that the Vice President’s role in the electoral vote-counting process is ministerial. ·       Makes it more difficult for members of Congress to make frivolous objections to the state election results. ·       Clarifies how a majority of appointed electors will be calculated.

The word “abide” in John 15:4 was translated from the Greek word “meno” and means “to stay in a given place, state, relation, or expectancy” (Strong’s Concordance). The dictionary defines “abide” as meaning “to remain; to continue; to stay; to dwell.” Each of these words speaks of stability and consistency. We cannot abide in Jesus if we only spend time with Him occasionally. Abiding in Jesus involves constant communion with Him. The just live by faith. They don’t just visit there sporadically. Seeking God occasionally isn’t a substitute for abiding in Him. This is a major reason why more Christians don’t experience the abundant life Jesus came to bring them (John 10:10). Most only abide in Jesus when life gets difficult. Later, when the pressure eases, they return to their own ways, and the next crisis is just a matter of time. John 15:4 offers an insightful truth, but if you are not abiding in Jesus, it is something that can be easily forgotten. Because the fruit grows on the branch, it is easy for us to give credit to the branch for bearing the fruit, when actually it is the vine that drew life from the soil and routed it through the branch. Similarly, since we are the branch through which the life of God flows, we can fall into the trap of thinking that the responsibility for producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control is ours. We are no longer trusting or abiding in the vine when we think this way. If we persist in this mindset, we will become fruitless. It is a great relief to the believer who understands that he is only the vessel through which the Lord operates. This places the responsibility for bearing fruit on Jesus. Our responsibility is to respond to Jesus’s unmatchable and perfect ability. In the same way that you have never seen a branch struggling to bring forth fruit, your “labor” is to enter into God’s rest (Hebrews 4:11). You labor not to labor. This “labor” is complete trust and dependency on Jesus as our source. If we abide in Him, the fruit will come naturally. The life we live will be Christ living in and through us, bringing us a profound sense of rest and peace. Putting our faith in what Jesus did for us saved us. To maintain our salvation, our faith must continue, remain, and abide in Christ and not in ourselves. Our holiness, righteousness, and justification are gifts that we received the moment we were born again in Christ. We must put our faith in Jesus and not our old man, with his inability to produce the fruit that can only be born in Christ. In the same way that the life of a root is found in the soil or a branch in the vine, the believer's true life is only found in his deep and intimate union with Christ. This union is not just a concept but a living reality that we can continually experience, bringing us closer to our Savior and strengthening our faith.
