CISA’s Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act (CIRCIA) has received more calls for review since the release of its proposed rule. Cyberscoop reports that lawyers and leaders of the critical infrastructure industry alike have many concerns about the rule, like confusion about what constitutes a “cyber incident”, disharmony with previously established cyber reporting requirements, and of course, the security of sensitive information that may be shared through the reports.
