    The mission of Saint Vincent de Paul pharmacy is to help ensure that low-income uninsured persons in Dane County have a compassionate resource to rely on for receiving ‒ without charge ‒ the prescribed medications, related medication education, and planning they need for effective treatment of their chronic and acute medical conditions. The pharmacy is a fully state-licensed program providing prescribed medications at no charge to low-income adults who qualify for the pharmacy’s services. There are stocks of many medications to treat common conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, infections and other chronic or acute illnesses. The program is designed to provide up to a 30-day supply per prescription refill. There is a Managing Pharamcist who oversees the program and enlists many well-trained volunteers in helping meet medication needs among local adults struggling to make ends meet.
