I always love reading the annual Voice of the Online Learner report that Risepoint produces. The two things that stuck out to me most were 1). location still matters, but the number of learners choosing an institution within 100 miles from where they live is down (57% this year vs. 70% last year) - which hints that folks are prioritizing things like quality and affordability over location. And 2). only 21% of respondents noted using employer tuition assistance as their funding mechanism - we can do so much better (and InStride can help)! Some very interesting findings in BDO USA's 8th annual Nonprofit Standards benchmarking survey of higher education leaders/executives -- including observations related to board and donor engagement, program reviews and key institutional challenges.
