What are the best metrics to measure product market fit?
The strongest and most effective leading indicators for PMF are engagement and the 40% rule. Engagement: If users aren't engaging with your product, then none of the other metrics matter. Define the #1 measure of engagement for your product (e.g. ordering a meal for DoorDash) and track to see whether engagement outpaces user growth and whether engagement translates to retention. 40% rule: You know you (likely) have PMF if you have at least 40% of your target customers saying they'd be "extremely disappointed" if they could no longer use your product.

How can you adjust your priority management framework for changing markets?
Let's give a concrete example. If you were building Zoom, think about how your product's priorities would change before/after the pandemic. You'd have to understand the new needs & behaviors of users to change how you prioritize what to build (e.g. usability on home networks, increased usage, making mute button easier to see). If you're in tune with the fact that the needs of the user have changed, it'll probably change your success metrics, strategy, and roadmap.

How can Product Managers improve their customer service skills?
As a PM, doing customer support is an absolute goldmine to building a better product and becoming an integral teammate. It gives you an outside-in perspective that many teammates won't have, and allows you to 1) understand your target user, 2) their perceptions about your product, and 3) their expectations from your product. I'm the head of product at a startup and reply weekly to support messages. My goal is to ask more questions than statements and talk as little as possible. These interactions with my users significantly influence our product roadmap.
