Years ago I "blossomed" up to 215lbs in college wasn't s good time for me. Made some significant changes, lost weigh and have stayed under 185 for decades. However that's just my experience, its not a roadmap for others to follow exactly, there circumstances are probably different. I can encourage and emphasize with their unique challenges and levels of surrender. Fortunately I never had any addiction to smoking so I don't have any experience with the struggle to quit. Sitting in my Wednesday Men's meeting O did hear several gentlemen share some of their challenges and their willingness to get honest about them. Victory first comes in a state of brokenness and surrender to directions from others. If all my thinking worked, I would not have been in some of the predicaments that I was in. Defeat then outside plan and implement. That was the common theme from these gentlemen and the changes that resulted was remarkable. This morning was no different. Reading thru the exercises and seeing Suicide Sprints as I heard Thunder rumbling outside. Quick check of the radar showed a Thunder was about on our doorstep. I quickly got myself organized for GRIT hoping I could bang out those S. Sprints before the rain hit. No such luck, as I opened up the back door, the sky started dumping rain. Crap! So I pivoted and completed all the other exercises then went onto the Finisher and G2G. Finally, after getting everything else done, I jumped outside almost making it thru the Rounds and another light shower came down but I was done and didn't care. Felt good to stay flexible enough to get it done in a reasonable time this morning. Good thing cause I've been going all day with just enough time so I'm able to get this posted by 11pm tonight.
