Along with "prime brokers, clearing brokers, executing brokers, options market makers, hedge funds, custodian banks, and other fiduciaries" "Furthermore, data made available to us indicate that just four market participants have been responsible for over 60% of the extraordinary volume of DJT shares traded: Citadel Securities, VIRTU Americas, G1 Execution Services, and Jane Street Capital. While DJT has consistently been among the most expensive stocks to borrow legally, TMTG assesses that some sellers have been paying a drastically reduced rate to obtain so-called “locates” for seemingly illegitimate “naked” short sales. The anomalies surrounding the trading of DJT suggest the possibility of unlawful collusion among multiple market counterparties including, without limitation: prime brokers, clearing brokers, executing brokers, options market makers, hedge funds, custodian banks, and other fiduciaries. Michael Saylor is functioning on a different wave length. Will his legacy be as the prophet for Bitcoin. He calls it the worlds first perfect money. We’re long Bitcoin at a minimum out to the end of Trumps presidency. We are doing so by buying into MicroStrategy. In a bull market scenario Bitcoin itself cannot outperform Saylor. Buy MSTR right now and add more shares each time the stock price corrects 10-30%. You have to actively manage your cost base. This isn’t a buy once and hope and prey.

All of this happened in crypto this week 👇 1️⃣ Tether reports a $5.2B profit in H1 2024. "Tether announced a record with a new profit benchmark of $5.2B net profit in the first half of the year, with a $1.3B net operating profit in Q2 as USDT's market cap hit new highs." 2️⃣ Circle trades at $5B ahead of IPO. "Circle reached a $9B valuation in 2022 during a failed SPAC deal to go public. According to the report, Circle allows limited trading of its shares in the secondary market ahead of the IPO, but only on a case-by-case basis and in specific situations." 3️⃣ Coinbase posts $1.45B in Q2 revenue. "Net income dropped to $36 million compared to nearly $1.2 billion in Q1. Consumer transaction revenues declined to $665 million, a 29% drop when compared to Q1, while stablecoin revenues rose to over $240 million. " 4️⃣ Polymarket crosses $1B in cumulative volume. Bitcoin is coming off a strong month hovering near an all-time high. Strategists have pointed to crypto markets tracking Trump's election odds across betting markets like Kalshi and Polymarket. While the apparent correlation with the election has dominated the headlines, the price of bitcoin is likely more dependent on the Federal Reserve. The Fed is widely expected to keep cutting interest rates over the next several months beyond the election, which should usher in more cheap capital across financial markets. It's less about a "Trump Trade" and more about monetary policy and the central bank, as I discuss with Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, LLC.

Random Crypto thoughts - what am I watching today - $BTC is stabilizing around 58k area - $ETH should catch a bid soon closer to ETF launch but that will be a sell the red event IMO - $ETH betas to watch - $ENS, $LDO, $ONDO, $PENDLE, $ETHFI, $MKR, $LINK have good fundamentals and backing. But some are at very high FDV and a lot of unclocks scheduled. So beware of those coins.  - $SOL is the clear winner to me if I was to pic one major. Too many positives in coming months - ETF, Firedancer upgrade etc - $SOL betas are new coins really - $popcat, $gigachad, $bonk, $wif ,$mother - $wif and $mother looks for a rebound  - other coins - $blast is at good levels. Don’t rule out Pacman. Good buy here! IMO

When I got started in cryptocurrency in 2013 there was no "bitcoin vs crypto." It was "crypto vs. central banking" and "F$#! Ripple" because they were aiming to serve the banks. Regardless, the crypto economy continues to grow and it will continue to do so as this new financial system blends the old with the new. Are Tether.io and Circle just a new form of banks?

Deal flows soared this week, we saw $1B+ in deals 💼 TeraWulf, a bitcoin mining firm, plans to raise $350M through convertible senior notes to fund a $200M share repurchase program.
