    I have volunteered at the local food bank back when I was living in Green Bay. I served with my religious sponsor and we prepared food for the homeless and needing people in the Green Bay area.

    As a former Bay Port wrestler, I volunteered my time to help set up wrestling tournaments as well as work these wrestling tournaments almost all my life. From rolling out the mats the day before to being a referee for championship matches, I spent countless hours in the gym helping out the Bay Port Wrestling Club.

    Representing the best of the NFL's commitment to philanthropy and community impact, 32 players are selected as their team's Man of the Year and become eligible to win the national award.

    The winner of the award each year receives a $250,000 donated to the winner's charity of choice. All other 31 nominees receive up to $40,000 donated to their charity of choice. All donations are courtesy of the NFL Foundation and Nationwide.
