The #telehealth segment in India is undergoing rapid transformation driven by several key trends. The proliferation of smartphones and the growing variety of mobile health apps have significantly boosted #telemedicine services, allowing patients to access #healthcare conveniently from their mobile devices. Wearable devices and remote monitoring technology enable healthcare providers to track patients' vital signs, manage chronic conditions, and oversee post-operative care remotely, allowing for early diagnosis of health issues and personalized treatment plans. AI-powered telemedicine solutions that use machine learning algorithms to analyze medical data, interpret diagnostic images, and provide decision support to healthcare practitioners are also gaining traction. AI-powered triage systems prioritize patient consultations based on symptom severity, optimizing resource allocation and improving healthcare efficiency. However, the adoption of telemedicine in rural India remains a challenge due to a significant portion of the rural population being uninformed about telemedicine services, reflecting broader issues of #digitalliteracy and accessibility. The heavy dependence on government-led healthcare services, combined with this lack of awareness, underscores the need for targeted education and training programs to facilitate telemedicine adoption. In urban areas, telemedicine adoption is more advanced, driven by better digital infrastructure, higher levels of digital literacy, and greater awareness of telehealth services. Urban residents have quicker access to the necessary technology and are more likely to utilize telemedicine for its convenience and efficiency. Nonetheless, the potential benefits of telemedicine, particularly in terms of cost and time efficiency, are slowly being recognized by the rural populace as well, indicating a positive change in their mindset towards modern medical technologies and healthcare. Given these trends, the telehealth segment in India is expected to witness substantial growth in the current financial year. The combination of advanced technology, increasing digital penetration, and supportive government policies is likely to drive the expansion of telemedicine services across both urban and rural areas, enhancing healthcare accessibility and efficiency nationwide. #HealthCloud Getting hands on experience on one of the newer SF offerings is always exciting! We are thrilled to share our experience with one such offering from SF, the Health Cloud ! Over the last few years we've seen remarkable transformations in healthcare industry and the service delivery around it across various organizations. Our journey with Salesforce Health Cloud has been eye-opening. We've witnessed firsthand how it breaks down barriers and unifies healthcare teams on a cohesive platform. It has enabled a more patient-centric, whole-person approach, mirroring the comfortable interactions seen in other indu We decided to call out some of its most outstanding features that appealed to us. One of the most impactful features we've observed is the 1. The 360-degree patient view. Now its necessarily the 360 customer view from Salesforce but putting it in perspectove of a patient it is a lot more rewarding It's incredible to see how consolidating medical records, test results, and other health information into a single view has empowered healthcare providers to make more informed decisions. 2. We've also been impressed by the platform's flexibility. Whether it's a small medical organization or a large hospital system, Health Cloud adapts to meet specific needs. 3. Patient Engagement: Allows patients to access their records, schedule appointments, and communicate with providers from anywhere 4. The out-of-the-box console application has streamlined health services, boosted agent productivity, and personalized interactions. So for someone who is taking a patient's call to answer their queries doesnt have to fiddle theough different applications or browser tabs. 5. Compliance: Ensures data security and compliance with standards like HIPAA, HL7 FHIR, and GDPR which such a key factor when you deal with sensitive data. However, we acknowledge that Health Cloud is a complex product and there's always room for improvement. To highlight the fact that the documentation and training materials are not enough makes it dificult for a Salesforce Consultant to start working on it from the word go. But we learn as we go! We're excited to continue partnering with healthcare organizations to improve patient outcomes and experiences using Health Cloud. #Salesforce #HealthCloud #Experts #Architects #SalesforcePartners

While developed markets have billion-dollar companies solving this through transitional care facilities, India's market remains surprisingly untapped. The reasons are complex: financially drained patients, high operational costs, and lack of insurance coverage. Yet, the opportunity is compelling. With an aging population, rising chronic diseases, and growing nuclear families, the need is clear. The future looks promising as insurance coverage expands and healthcare awareness grows. The winning player will need to crack the unit economics while building standardized care delivery. The market awaits its disruptor. #indianhealthcare #rehabmarket #indianhospitals

It is hard to impress how impactful and important #Medicaid is to health of millions. Nikita Singareddy outlines a compelling why statement as to the importance of building innovative solutions for this population. Her articulation of the variation and complexity consumers face in understanding eligibility much less enrollement is mind-boggling. Worth a listen! 1 out of 4 people who have health insurance are on one of the 56 Medicaid plans available across the US and its territories. These plans are built for individuals who are facing some of the hardest challenges in life - economic, physical, societal, education. Yet they are some of the hardest to navigate and understand. Conversely Medicaid is also one of the greatest source of health delivery innovations - from concepts like "Medical Home" care models and telehealth to embracing transportation, housing, and access to food as health related investments. Excited to see the progress that Nikita and Fortuna Health make in this space. It is important for all of us, not just those who directly take advantage of Medicaid!

India's technology landscape is rapidly evolving, becoming one of the world's most dynamic ecosystems in terms of technological advancement and adoption. This rapid transformation is reflected in a multitude of sectors, from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the tech corridors of Bengaluru, where innovation is not just embraced but celebrated. In 2024, India stands out as a hub of innovation and opportunity, where tradition and modernity converge to create a vibrant ecosystem full of possibilities. The synergy between elevating and grounding forces is key to this change, with elevating forces fueled by interaction, information, and computing serving as catalysts for innovation, propelling industries towards uncharted territories. These forces herald the rise of transformative technologies such as spatial computing, which allows virtual worlds to blend with the real world, and Generative AI (GenAI), that gives organizations access to new insights and creative potential. Simultaneously, grounding forces, including the business of technology, core modernization, security, and trust, provide the necessary foundation for sustainable growth. Investments in modernizing core systems and bolstering cybersecurity infrastructure ensure seamless integration of new technologies while safeguarding against emerging threats. As technology evolves, DevOps undergoes a paradigm shift, prioritizing the empowerment of developers through developer experience (DevEx). This transition fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, driving efficiency and creativity in software development. Furthermore, the Indian technology industry's revenue is set to surpass US$254 billion in FY2024, with a 3.8 percent year-on-year growth, marking an addition of more than US$9 billion compared with the previous year. The rising prominence of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), highlighting India's increasing ability to meet international tech demands, is a key contributor to the country’s growth. With over 1,600 GCCs, the Indian GCC market is on track to exceed US$100 billion by 2030, likely to employ more than 4.5 million people across 2,500 GCCs nationwide by 2030. The last decade has seen India create the world’s largest digital public service ecosystem, scaling it for a billion people to usher in an era of digitization. This has had a domino effect – improving governance and quality of life, driving technology innovation, IT services, and product development, and accelerating the tech start-up culture in India. As more businesses use immersive experiences powered by 5G and spatial computing, coupled with government initiatives supporting digital innovation, India is poised for a transformative era.
