September 11, 2023 was my fourth year managing a golf fundraiser for Tuesday’s Children. They’re a New York based organization spawning from the tragic 9/11 ashes 22 years ago. Tuesday’s Children serves and supports the 9/11 families who lost loved ones as well as the 9/11 responders and their families.

They have expanded their services to provide long term healing programs to military families of the fallen. This year, we partnered with the Northern California PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) to bring awareness and financial support to these both organizations. It was an awesome alliance!

Our day of togetherness was to remember those fallen, be thankful for what we have, #NEVERFORGET those lost, reflect our fortunes, promote goodness and kindness. When several players shared their stories of where they were on 9/11 - what they saw and what they felt that day - we were strengthened by the importance of our country to remember and honor the lives that were lost.

We are so very grateful for all the firefighters, Veterans and local community members that came out to play and volunteer in "Birdies4Hope" on 9/11/23. Thank you for your service to our citizens and country, and support for these great charities! Our "Never Forget 9/11" Birdies-4-Hope golf-a-thon raised $54,800, which will be shared equally between Tuesday’s Children & NC PGA HOPE.

It’s great to be connected through a game which has the power to bring people together for good. Here are some pictures from the event: https://lnkd.in/gswS8Rd5 & please save the date: Wednesday, September 11, 2024 for our next event.
