I've spent 6 years building Partnerships at Teamtailor. We've come a long way and can now objectively be considered a successful partnership organization with around 20 people working directly or indirectly with partnerships. Over the past few months, I've met with some people starting out their careers in Partnerships and something really stuck with me during those conversations. I wish I had someone like myself to speak to when I started out my career in Partnerships. Because I REALLY struggled in the beginning. But I'm also aware I can't meet everybody and not everybody has somebody in their network that they can speak to like this. So I'm starting a series sharing the things I know now that I wish I had known when I started my career in Partnerships in the hopes that this helps somebody who's in the process of building partnerships for their organization.
Looking forward to reading through this one buddy!
Thanks Fredrik Mellander for sharing! As a new partner professional, it’s helpful to learn from those who have been where we are going. I’ll continue to follow your articles as I’m sure they will come in handy 🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your journey and the lessons learned along the way, Fredrik Mellander! Eagerly awaiting Part 2 :)
Well done Fredrik! Love to learn from you
Phenomenal read for startup founders as well!! Looking forward to the next one🤩
Well put!
Partners are superpower
10moSo spot on! We have to change the partnerships career game 👏 Being tossed into partnerships must have been such a wild experience as few years ago, there were hardly any specific partner-roles in SMEs. Today, I would encourage every salesperson, who wants to move to a more strategic, value-driven role to start looking into partnerships! Can't wait for part 2 Fredrik Mellander!
