We had a peaceful meditation session at IMPunjab. It was so calm as we all felt the stress melt away. Grateful for this relaxing break and the positive energy it brought to us. Big props to Ms. Meghali Sachdeva, founder of ZenithofBeing, for guiding us. It’s amazing how a little mindfulness can recharge our spirits. 🧘♀️🌿✨

📍Writing to you from — The Beatles, Rishikesh The last one-and-a-half-year has been really intense in terms of life changes, both personally and professionally. Since this time, I have been unwaveringly inclined to explore Spirituality and Consciousness, the seed of which germinated from the curiosity to understand ‘Karma’; one-and-a-half-year back. I am immensely grateful to the Universe for guiding me to the right books and teachers to find the knowledge. Last week, I freshly bought this book from a respected Phd. Priest here in Rishikesh named “Sleep, Dream & Spiritual Reflections” written by Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharya. The book speaks of the interconnection between Sleep, Dreams and Spiritual Reflections; highlighting how dreams and the unconscious state can offer reflections on our spiritual and life path. Many great Yogis could telepathically see things happening in the other part of the world in the Unconscious states, as only Unconscious Mind links to the cosmic collective consciousness. The *Conscious Mind* is the mind active through the day - although still in half asleep state(as we do most of our daily tasks ok autopilot). The book says average human is conscious only for 1min/hr. The *Subconscious Mind* is the storage of thoughts, emotions, patterns; running in the background of Conscious Mind. The *Unconscious Mind* is active in the Sleep state, only the deep sleep state is the unconscious state, and only in deep sleep does the body repair itself. I wanted to address why there have been no updates on my yoga journey in Rishikesh after Day 2. Today is Day 19 of my teacher training. I had a half day this Thursday and took this time to step out after long. The Yoga Teacher program is incredibly intense for an everyday’s schedule, encompassing both the physical practices Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa. Along with theory of Human Body Anatomy with Alignment and Universal Philosophy, I am also learning Yoga Therapy, which speaks volumes on how we get certain diseases due to certain emotions. And how every disease starts from the mind. This depth of learning per day has absorbed my full attention, which is why I’ve paused the daily posts here. Kudos to all the Yoga Teachers and Therapists who have immersed themselves for the betterment of humanity over years of their practice. I look forward to sharing more about my journey here once my yoga teacher training is complete. I really have a lot to share with everyone of you. You may follow me if this interests you. Feel free to connect if this exploration interests you. Thank you for your patience and reading till here.

  • Day 2: Why do you Smoke? Understand the "why" first, and "how to quit" will follow.

Why do you Smoke? Instead of trying to get rid of the surface level issues "how to quit", dive deep into the underlying "why" first. In my 7 years of working and having friends in the IT and Startup Ecosystem, it's a strong observation that quitting smoking remains a challenge, despite knowing its health risks. During my 200-Hour Yoga Program in Rishikesh, I had a chance of exploring this subject through the teachings of yoga and the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagvad Gita highlights three core energies: 1. Gyan Shakti (Wisdom) 2. Karma Shakti (Action) 3. Bhakti Shakti (Emotion) Smoking stems from Bhakti Shakti—emotional impulses that cloud your judgment. Even when you have the wisdom (Gyan Shakti) about smoking’s dangers and the ability to act (Karma Shakti), smoking still becomes an *emotion-led action*. Shri Krishna says in the Bhagwad Gita, all three energies Wisdom-Action-Emotion should be aligned; and only then the action is fruitful and for everyone's good; meaning an Action should be led by Wisdom and Emotion both. Coming to "How to Quit" and overcome this, instead of continuing to live in the 'trying to quit' mode without making any actual changes in your life, you need to realign these three energies that are currently misbalanced. Yoga serves as a potent tool to rebalance these energies, fostering better self-control and healthier decisions. By incorporating yoga, you can harmonize your wisdom, actions, and emotions. ZenithofBeing strongly advocates for the interconnectedness of Mind-Body-Soul, emphasizing that changes at the mental level manifest physically. Get started with us on the path to holistic wellbeing for yourself and your team. As I continue my yoga teacher journey in Rishikesh, I’ll be sharing more insights on how yoga can help realign our lives. Below is a snapshot from my 'Pranayam' class this morning. #YogaJourney #PersonalGrowth #Balance #Wisdom #Action #Emotion #SelfImprovement

Day 1: 200-Hour Yoga Program in Rishikesh I’m back in Rishikesh, a place that is home to my soul. It’s been a space for spiritual growth, learning, and self-discovery; especially in the last 2 years. If you don’t know me, I’m the founder of ZenithofBeing, a company dedicated to Holistic Well-being for the *Mind-Body-Soul*. Our philosophy integrates: *For the Mind: Guided team meditations to cultivate mindfulness and mental clarity. *For the Soul: Nourishment of Soul for better EQ and Creative Expression *For the Body: Engagement in yoga to maintain physical health and balance. After all, a whole day of sitting isn’t recommended. MIND-BODY-SOUL are inseparable from one another, in fact they are deeply connected. Any changes good or bad created in the Subconscious Mind(mind) brings change in your reality(body). New Beginnings -- The day started serenely, with stunning views of the mountains that surround this sacred place. I spent the morning reflecting on the journey ahead, and the first official ceremony *Yog Peeth* after. We participated in a *Havan*—a fire ritual performed to welcome *Positive Energies* and purify our intentions. The havan is rooted in the belief of fire being a *Sacred Purifier*. It cleanses not only the environment but also our bodies and minds, preparing us for new beginnings. The ritual is an offering of sacred items to the consecrated fire, symbolizing the transformation we seek; ensuring success and protection in the endeavour. Setting Intentions for the Next 25 Days -- Following the ceremony, I received the study material for the course. Over the next 25 days, I’ll be sharing key takeaways and *Yoga Tips* from my training here at Yog Peeth. Whether you're just starting your yoga practice or are a seasoned practitioner, I hope my reflections inspire you to explore your own path to holistic well-being.

If you made a list of all the ideas you’ve had but never pursued, the activities you loved but put on the back burner, or artistic pursuits that you’ve always wanted to try, but never had the courage—what would rise to the surface? Maybe you tell yourself you don’t have enough time, that it’s too late, or that you are too old. Or, maybe you hold back because you think you aren’t good enough. You too have a box of art supplies, an instrument case, a list of classes, or a good idea that you have been lugging around for years. Or, maybe you are already doing it, but only doing it half way. If any of this feels familiar, we think you'll love this week's featured article. Therapist Diana Hill explores why we hesitate to take creative leaps as adults—and what we can do to get unstuck and reclaim our creative courage.

  • What is Vision? Vision is the ability to foresee and shape the future. Visionary leaders like Swami Vivekananda exemplified this by fostering connections between diverse cultures, notably by introducing Eastern spiritual concepts to the West. Vivekananda's forward-thinking approach even anticipated the atomic age, a time when science and religion seemed worlds apart. He bridged this divide by integrating ancient wisdom with modern scientific thought, particularly through Vedanta and its cosmic energy concepts. His insights into how matter, energy, and consciousness interplay to form reality resonate even today. Visionaries like Nikola Tesla were deeply influenced by Vivekananda's ideas, which led to groundbreaking advancements in science and technology. Despite facing criticism and skepticism, Tesla persevered, ultimately transforming the world with his findings on energy and electricity. The principle remains timeless: Vision begins with the courage to withstand criticism and the resolve to see it through. "As we started our ascent, this is where I slowly began to crumble..." We've all experienced times when our inner mountain of exhaustion, panic, and resentment feels too difficult to keep climbing. How do we bring calm, patient awareness to our most frustrating challenges? French-Californian writer Vanessa Hutchinson-Szekely transports us to alpine hiking trails, relating how her grandparents' legacy inspired her trek up the Criou—and showed her the resilience within a few deep breaths.
