We are continually innovating and evolving our safety systems—we’ve already released more than 30 improvements this year. This morning, we released significant updates to our safety controls and I’m very excited to share them with you. We’ve dramatically improved our parental controls, changed how users under age 13 can communicate on Roblox and the type of content they can access, and added new content labels. These changes were developed and implemented after extensive internal research, including interviews and surveys with parents and kids, and consultation with experts from child safety and media literacy organizations. In my spare time, one of my greatest joys is to be able to have meaningful conversations about things that matter to me. At the top of my "things that matter" ladder is the topic of how to create safe digital worlds for children and how to allow them to safely avail themselves of those worlds while also experiencing the beauty that is our physical world.
