WFF is seeking a group of dynamic and diverse volunteer screeners who love movies, work in the film industry (now or in the past) and have vast and deep knowledge and understanding of the art and craft of filmmaking. Former screeners or programmers for other film festivals a bonus! ✌️ As a screener, you will watch films for the festival and participate in the decision-making process for which films will be shown at the 2025 Film Festival. #WFF25 Maverick Award Winners 🏆 BEST STUDENT SHORT: SOME KIND OF BUG Some Kind of Bug is about a mother daughter relationship, the judgments cast within their relationship, and in the broader world. It's a very unique take with a complete emotional arc, great performances, cinematography, production design and music.
