Wolf Greenfield is proud to sponsor the Harry H. Dow Memorial Legal Assistance Fund 39th Annual Celebration on December 13 in Boston. In 1929, Harry H. Dow became the first Asian American attorney admitted to practice in Massachusetts (Suffolk Law) and provided counsel to underserved immigrant and impoverished communities in Boston's Chinatown and South End, and in New York. The Harry H. Dow Memorial Legal Assistance Fund was established to provide resources to ensure access to the legal system for Asian Americans who are deprived of justice because of barriers such as language, race, culture, poverty, or immigration status.
