Just In: Congress passes NDAA with funding for Rip and Replace. “We’re happy to see Rip and Replace fully funded in the NDAA to make good on the payments promised to carriers for this essential national security effort. In 2024, we gained ground on major aspects of WIA’s policy agenda by: ✅ leading the charge to successfully defend the FCC’s 5G Upgrade order in court and ✅ urging Congress to codify all of the FCC’s streamlined permitting rules, which have successfully supported the initial rollout of 5G across the country.
