What an amazing week it’s been at our Malaga Member Meeting! Here are some key highlights from the event: We kicked things off with insightful keynotes from Juan Carlos Mora from DEKRA and Carlos Gandarillas Diego from Telefónica. Throughout the week, we hosted 17 different breakout sessions covering a range of topics, including healthcare, security, long-range planning, #WiFi7, #WiFiHaLow, and more. Key industry insights and collaborations were at the forefront of sessions: • Market segment overviews, highlighting Wi-Fi’s evolution and growth with Gajinder Vij from Qualcomm, Matt Pekarske from GE HealthCare, Loay K. from Charter Communications, Thomas Derham from Broadcom, and Darshak Thakore from CableLabs. • A panel featuring Carlos Sanchez Baena from Fira Barcelona and Héctor Moreno Ruiz from ACCIONA on how Wi-Fi expands enterprise opportunity, innovation, and efficiency • Mariela Pavlova from Infineon Technologies AG discussed European cybersecurity requirements • A panel on connected healthcare, with Erno Muuranto from GE HealthCare, Wolfgang Fischer from Kantonsspital St.Gallen, and Ian Sherlock from Texas Instruments where they explored how #WiFi is improving patient care and clinical outcomes We also had a special Member Presentation from Scott Blue from Bluetooth SIG where he shared insights on coexistence in the #6GHz band. We saw a demo from DEKRA and another from CableLabs that showcased #WiFiEasyConnect technology. We were also happy to network together during a social hour for a final member celebration of Wi-Fi's 25th anniversary. It's been great reflecting on Wi-Fi’s incredible journey and connecting with past and present industry leaders all year long. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next Member Meeting in Tokyo, February 18-20, 2025!
