Exciting oil and gas discovery in the Norwegian North Sea! 🎉 Congratulations to Equinor and their partners, DNO Norge AS and Petoro, for the successful discovery in the Ringand prospect within PL923B. Well 31/1-4 has encountered a gas column in the Ness, Etive and Oseberg formations, along with an oil-water contact and an oil column in the Oseberg Formation. An additional gas column was encountered in the Drake Formation sandstones.
