Fascinating discussion between Eric Smith and Megan Antonelli as to how a health system like Memorial Hermann thinks about and evaluates #AI innovations. I love the #patientfirst mentality. I was super impressed with how they have embedded #VoiceAI into their patient engagement with Gridspace. 4/5000 calls a week is amazing. We honor and celebrate all who serve our country to help defend and protect. #Veterans put on the uniform and put thier lives at risk to ensure we can freely live and prosper. My grandfather fought in the Pacific campaign of WWII and my father fought in Vietnam. Neither wanted to talk much about their experience once it was over. I am grateful, however, that they served their country to ensure I had the opportunities I have had to build a family, a profession and a life. Thank you to all who have and continue to serve this country!

Quick read that popped up over the weekend. The title feels like it is meant to be thought provoking but in reality this feels almost like a certainty ... just a matter of time. (what is really thought provoking is that we have gone from this being unthinkable to expected in under 2 years). What is more #thoughtprovoking is the reality that if you are a health system and not already creating #VoiceAI agents then you are behind. Health systems are pooring millions of dollars into scaling thier #patientengagement capabilities with a focus on texting. This is great.
