HYPED to share our latest case study with Intelligems 🚀 Intelligems has one of the most impressive B2B operating teams that I've ever worked with -- and is backed by some of the top investors in ecomm (Vinyl Capital Ben Zises and Matchstick Ventures alongside a number of angels). As Intelligems ramped up GTM, their team (Drew Marconi, Sarah Darlington, Samantha Duncan) reached out to Verbatim as a content partner. Here's what happened: 1) Challenge Intelligems needed to design and launch a content engine that scaled TOFU growth alongside its other demand gen verticals. The only obstacle to executing against this strategy was the finding the right parter - a team that shipped at a fast pace and had specialized B2B startup knowledge in their ecosystem. While considering options, they decided against individual freelancers (too slow of a ramp up time) and scaling a fully loaded in-house content team. That's when they met Verbatim - and made the quick decision to get started. 2) Solution In less than a month, Verbatim developed a deep understanding of Intelligems' products and began deploying assets spanning case studies, sales enablement, expert guides, and socials threads - with a focus on social proof and PMM. After deploying the engine, we were able to help elevate their audience reach, position Intelligems in front of more leads, and ultimately drive conversions. 3) Results + 5x increase in content impressions + $50,000 saved per year + 40 hours saved/week In Drew's words: "Verbatim's team produces best-in-class content with high speed – but that's just half of the story. They're also an exceptional partner that truly feels like an extension of our team." Check out the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/eBWchrM5

I launched Verbatim in January 2022 (this was our first website). Zooming in, there were 3 distinct phases of scaling the company. Here’s a snapshot: 🤦♂️ Phase 1 — 2022 (early days) Very different market, very different time. The team was just me and a few very talented writers. Lots of late nights and weekends grinding out content. Using Andrew Wilkinson's restaurant analogy, I was running the front desk, waiting tables, sprinting to the kitchen to cook, plating dishes, and serving customers. TLDR: I didn’t know anything about running a biz. But it was also the most fun I’ve ever had - there’s a beauty in having no clue what you’re building towards, but knowing that you’re creating something valuable that startups really need. 📈 Phase 2 — 2023 (teenage years) Last year I learned the basics of team building, product development, and leading an org. Prior to this growth period, I had never hired senior talent, negotiated comp, closed an enterprise sale, etc. Lots of “firsts” to this phase of growth. From a business lens, we took off: scaling to 7-figures in revenue (profitably) and grew to over 15+ full-time employees around the world. We also re-built our site with a focus on social proof, shipped our first Verbatim case studies on-site, and ramped our social presence considerably. Learned a TON about acquisition, retention, sales, GTM, finances, and a whole lot more. 🚀 Phase 3 — 2024 (foundation setting) Today, we’re a team of 20+ FTEs and working with public companies to build out GTM content. In short: we’re playing an entirely different game. I'm focused on scaling best-in-class quality, implementing new processes, and meeting partners in the ecosystem. Completely different business than 3 years ago. Lots more to ship in our next phase + progress to build on. Stay tuned ⚡

Stoked to share Verbatim's latest case study featuring Onton. The results have been insane: 100,000+ new users per month while saving 30 hours/week 🔥 I first met with Zach H. right after he raised. He was looking to rapidly launch + scale Onton's content engine focused on long-form evergreen assets. From our initial convo, it was clear they needed a partner who could take full ownership of the content workflow. Within a week of onboarding, our team was fully ramped and shipping content across multiple channels & formats. Since going live, the content engine has been highly effective at creating a sustainable inbound funnel, while also building trust with new customers. Zach summed it up well: "Content is a priceless asset for any company. Verbatim pulled all the stops on creating best-in-class content, from their lightning-fast execution and deep understanding of our target audience to their high-quality writing and exceptional distribution." Highly recc checking out Onton -- very bullish on what they're building ⚡

Stoked to (finally) share our redesigned case study page 🚀 At the end of the day, all that * really * matters is ensuring your partners are seeing results and your customers are happy. Our entire thesis at Verbatim is centered around this idea of documenting real-time, authentic social proof. In this new design iteration, we focused on a few fundamentals: - People buy from people (especially true in B2B) - KPIs, metrics, and logos front and center - Highlighting multiple industry verticals - Seamless scrolling + ease of use - Direct and simple copywriting This is very much a work in progress. Will continue to iterate as we lean into what performs (and scrap what doesn't work). Always open to feedback and advice to keep getting better - shoot me a note if you have any pointers ⚡ Check out the full page here: https://lnkd.in/eV_ibmQK
