How I actually use AI in UX Design (And why most people get it wrong) Here's the thing about AI in UX: - Most teams treat it like a magic wand - Popular AI tools weren't built for UX work - "AI experts" keep pushing unrealistic workflows But after months of real client work, we've found what actually works. Let me show you a practical example in this guide 👇 And feel free to replicate and adapt it based on your needs. For months, this idea wouldn’t leave my mind. For months, I was captivated by this problem. For months, I kept asking myself: why hasn't this sector received the attention it deserves? With my growing interest in product management, I decided to combine my skills as a writer and product enthusiast to bring this idea to life. As someone who uses public transportation daily, and knowing that 72% of Nigerians rely on it too, I couldn’t understand why this essential sector has been overlooked. After digging into Moniepoint Group's 2024 report on the informal economy and their approach to digital transactions, I still couldn’t shake the feeling that public transport drivers were being left out of the conversation. Over the years, I’ve spoken to and observed countless drivers. These men and women are just like the market traders—driving isn’t just a job for them, it’s their livelihood, a way to support their families. Through my research, I discovered a glaring gap in this informal market that we could tap into. That’s how the idea for Pay-Along came to be. While this product started as a case study and portfolio project, I genuinely believe it has the potential to make a difference. It’s more than just an idea; it’s a response to an unaddressed need. I owe credit to Moniepoint Group for their insights and the incredible work they’re doing to bridge the digital gap, and to UXpilot.ai for helping me visualize what Pay-Along could look like, even though I’m not a product designer. I’d love your thoughts! Please read, like, share, and let me know your feedback.
