Rejection sucks! If you don't make it your secret weapon. This will change your perspective forever. How to create momentum with failure: 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Why do they sting? • The ego gets bruised • Our skills feel invalidated • Doubt seeps in about business viability The truth? ↓ Rejection isn't about you; it's feedback. Mindset Reset: Use it as data, not a dagger. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲. You're not selling a service; you're solving a problem. • What's the client's real pain? • Can your Skill Stack uniquely fix it? • Does your solution align with their goal? Rejection is often a mismatch. Analyze, don't agonize. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆. Ever felt like your world was caving in? Did that define you? Did it last forever? No. Your experiences do not define your worth. Be present to create space from emotion. Enter the control box of your mind. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨. 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵. Imagine your dream day as a Skillpreneur. ➠ Time with loved ones ➠ Meaningful business ➠ Intentional impact ➠ Financial freedom ➠ Deep work Note: None of this gets ruined by a single rejection. Keep the bigger picture in focus. 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲? Allocate time not just for tasks, but for growth. • Conduct a time audit • Prioritize with the 80/20 rule • Automate, delegate, eliminate Time management is less about clocks and more about choices. 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗯. • Listen more, pitch less • Audit your sales process • Test different approaches • Revise your offer - Is it truly irresistible? • Observe client behavior - What aren't they saying? Master the follow-up, just keep going. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝘆 "𝗡𝗼" Embrace the 20/60/20 rule. 20% will always say no. 20% will always say yes. 60% can sway in either direction. Shoot your shots; it's a numbers game. Every "no" statistically gets you closer to a "yes". "No" doesn't always mean no; it might just be "not now". 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿? 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. Confused and lacking direction? • Set clear, actionable goals • Align with your core values • Track rejections, spot patterns • Invest in coaching and consulting The key is aligning your daily behavior with long-term goals. Keep going, keep failing, keep learning. Not getting enough engagement on LinkedIn? Let me and my team fix that for you. Click: Visit my website to apply now. Uncomfortable Reality for Employees: 6 Truths I wasted a decade learning… 1. The problem isn’t you. 2. The raise isn’t coming. 3. The bad boss isn’t leaving. 4. The culture isn’t getting better. 5. The promotion isn’t a project away. 6. The micromanagement is here to stay. These problems go well beyond you. A mentor use to say, “The fish stinks from the head.” (That’s the [lack of] leadership team.) People behave how leadership tolerates. And people do what they can to remain comfortable. That includes avoiding hard truthful conversations. Instead they opt to make empty promises. Be careful accepting everything as truth. I’m not saying, “be a cynical person.” But I am saying, “be optimistic.” Be optimistic about: → Your worth → Your adaptability → Your resourcefulness These traits will free you from your chains. Someone out there will pay you exactly what you want and more, but only if they can find you. Don’t be afraid to leave that sh*tty job. Plan your exit strategy. Then build your exit. ↓ Leverage social. You can do it. I can help. Let’s go! シ ♻️ Smash that repost button! ♻️ 🔔 Follow Jordan Murphy 🧠🦍  for more. 💬 Which (1-6) is draining your energy? — P.S. The Secret to Effortless Management: It’s Not About Doing More—It’s About Delegating Better. Most people think becoming more successful means doing more themselves. But here’s the truth: your most valuable skill isn’t doing—it’s getting others to do. Here’s why: When I launched Brain Apes, I quickly realized that no matter how hard I worked, there was always too much on my plate. I needed to delegate, but not just dump tasks—I had to ensure people knew exactly what to do and how to do it. And here’s the formula that made my business scale faster than I imagined: ↓ ✪ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝 ✪ There are 5 reasons people don’t execute: 1. Something 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 them. 2. They 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 to do it. 3. They 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭  you wanted. 4. They 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 you wanted it.. 5. They 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 or incentivized. If you’re missing just one of these, your delegation will fail. The task will either fall apart or create more stress for you. ↓ ✪ 𝐒𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐃𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐅𝐢𝐱 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬? ✪ You don’t have to micromanage. Everyone just needs clarity. → 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭: Teach your team exactly what needs to be done, how it should be done, and by when. → 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: Make it clear that deadlines matter just as much as the task itself. → 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Ensure there’s something in it for them—whether it’s recognition, a reward, or a sense of accomplishment. ↓ ✪ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 ✪ Effortless Hard Conversations. Delegating right makes having difficult conversations easier. When something goes wrong, you can break it down and ask: • Did they know what to do? • Did they know how to do it? • Were they blocked? This approach turns uncomfortable confrontations into productive problem-solving sessions. From implementing this, my agency hit 5 figures in month 1 and a 6 figure run-rate in month 2—and the best part is, I scaled without burning out. (That’s key when you’re consciously creating a lifestyle business. It’s about the lifestyle—and let's be real—I can't provide top-notch service and prioritize lifestyle without my team.) If you want to use LinkedIn to build your lifestyle business, you can't just hire and delegate everything—you need to know what good looks like to define it for others.. You need the right playbook, or your hire will fail. Or you can leverage my proven playbooks. And let my team do it all for you. (We’ll do all the hard work.) You in? Making money online isn’t hard. But it can be tricky to balance everything. Because so many things are of equal relative importance. A delicate dance between risk, priority, and responsibility. Just like this video—catches ball, drops baby, catches baby, never drops his beer. Without each component in business, the engine might not function properly. (mini-checklist below) And that includes a competent founder/operator. The good thing is that once you put in the work, you’ll finally “get” it. And once you “get” it, making money is easy. You can practically print money. But you need to play long enough to learn. The crazy thing is that you’ll become the driving force of success regardless of paradigm shifts and the expiration of trends or other market factors that cause financial instability. Basically, the more shit you go through, the better you get at going through shit. Such is life… lol So let’s say you’ve nailed: → Your Offer → Your Niche → Your Fulfillment And: → Your GTM Strategy → Your Marketing Plan Simplified, you know what you do, for whom, how you’re going to tell the world and make it known. It’s at this crucial point, I see many founders fail. Why? They need more attention. They need to test and iterate. They need to become known. If you’re getting ignored by your prospects, you’ll struggle to make money and keep playing the game. Your financial runway will collapse. Your business will fail. But you don’t have to go through that. I failed 4x as a founder before I figured it out with Brain Apes. So I made this for you—it’s free. Let me save you some money right now. Lots of "experts" are selling LinkedIn courses. And all they’re doing is recycling the same info. I know because I’ve bought all the courses they bought. But I’ve personally run the top creators on every platform. So here’s the real real: you need the right tools to execute the right information. Because guess what? Even after you have the right info… It is literally worthless if you don’t know how to or don’t have the time to apply it. Brain Apes has all the resources under one roof. And I’m talking about the DFY resources. → The ones that move the needle. → The ones that bring leverage. → The ones that people love. See, I’m a biz dev guy. I love to build—people, products, and processes. I was recently referred to as a LinkedIn Mogul. I have NEVER been called a Mogul lol 𝙄𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙡. That word correlates to a Tycoon in my mind. And I loved playing Tycoon games. (Probably why I love business.) Simulation games are great! I even love playing Monopoly. But no one likes to play it with me. You could say I’m primed for long games. So now I’m playing the longest game in business, meaning as all the people fire up and fizzle out... I’ll be here. Helping loads more people build lifestyle businesses, make money with social media and live the life they knew was theirs to live. I’m ready when you’re keen to take it to the next level. 7 BRUTAL Mindset Traps And how you can avoid (and escape) them: Ever felt like your external world is dictating your life? Here’s a reality check: Everything you think you see outside is an illusion—light refraction processed and inverted by your retina. Your inner world creates your experience. It paints the meaning of what happens. It's how you process the world around you. And it's all an inside job. Let’s uncover the most insidious mindset traps—and the powerful solutions to escape them (solutions in the pdf): 1. Thinking “Everything Will Work Itself Out” Without Action Comfort lies: Maybe I’ll get lucky. Reality knows: Luck favors action-takers. Trapped by inaction? Start small. Each step creates clarity. 2. Believing Your Inner Critic A belief is just a story in your head that you don't question. So that voice in your head saying “You’re not enough”? → It’s a lie. A made-up story. Your thoughts are often just habits, not truths. But pay attention to them—your self-talk shapes your outcomes. 3. Chasing Perfection Perfection = procrastination in disguise. You’re avoiding failure, not pursuing excellence. 4. Externalizing Power You wait for validation, opportunities, or the “perfect” time. Reality: You hold the power to act right now. 5. Staying in Your Comfort Zone Comfort zones feel safe but make you stuck. Unchecked and you lose decades to complacency. ↳ Your growth lives in discomfort. 6. Focusing on What You Lack Scarcity traps you in comparison and fear. Abundance begins with gratitude. 7. Living Reactively, Not Intentionally Most drift through life reacting to problems instead of designing solutions. Reactive living robs you of energy and creativity. The Truth Is: → Your reality is created by you. → Not by chance, but by choice. → Every thought is a seed. What are you planting today? 💬 Which trap has held you back the most? 💬 Let’s break free together. シ ♻️ Smash that repost button! ♻️ 🔔 Follow Jordan Murphy 🧠🦍  for more. 💬 Which (1-7) have you experienced? ↓ P.S. 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐧 Quitting isn’t failure—staying stuck is. I’ve hit glass ceilings in corporate jobs, stayed in toxic environments too long, and failed at four businesses before building Brain Apes, my agency that hit a mid six figure run rate in its second month. Here’s what I’ve learned: If you don’t advocate for yourself with action, you stay the source of your own suffering. You don’t grow where you’re undervalued, overworked, or boxed in. Sometimes you have to leave to level up. 4 signs it’s time to quit: 1. Your value is ignored. 2. Work overtakes your life. 3. Chronic stress that drains you. 4. No growth—professionally or personally. I finally broke free when I moved to Florida. A mentor showed me what life could look like when you shed limiting beliefs. That shift led to the life I live now—free, purposeful, and on my terms. You can’t change your outcomes without changing your thinking. And once you shift your mindset, the action becomes clear. You don’t need a superpower to succeed. Most people think success belongs to those born with extraordinary talents. But the truth? Success is a skillset anyone can learn. 8 skills that transformed my life—and can transform yours too: 1. Self-Awareness: Your internal GPS I wasn’t born self-aware. It took years of missteps and scattered focus to realize clarity starts within. Mindfulness was my turning point. • Practicing presence transformed chaos into peace. • Real-time self-awareness became my superpower. Lesson: Growth starts where honesty meets reflection. 2. Strategic Planning: From ideas to execution My first big test? Building Brain Apes. I turned failures into blueprints and blueprints into breakthroughs. • Every pivot taught me to refine my strategy. • Every plan is only as strong as the lessons behind it. Takeaway: A clear plan isn’t optional. It’s your map to meaningful results. 3. Adaptability: Thriving through change Change was once my enemy. Now it’s my greatest ally. • Career pivots taught me to embrace discomfort. • Continuous learning became my edge. Truth: Growth happens in the stretch, not the safety zone. 4. Emotional Intelligence: The quiet superpower It’s not just about understanding others—it’s about mastering yourself. • Pain became my greatest teacher in building connections. • I learned to see beyond words to the emotions behind them. Reminder: EQ elevates your career and enriches your life. 5. Effective Communication: The art of impact Words matter. But intention matters more. • I honed this skill in my career, my marriage, and my business. • Every conversation is a chance to create clarity—or confusion. Pro tip: Make your words count. 6. Time Management: Building time wealth I used to let time slip through my fingers. Now, I own it. • Batching tasks and embracing deep work unlocked more hours in my day. • I learned it’s not about doing everything—it’s about doing the right things. Insight: Master your time, and you master your results. 7. Networking: Building bridges, not collecting contacts True connection isn’t transactional. • My network is built on shared values and real relationships. • Helping others grow has been the foundation of my success. Remember: The right people don’t just open doors—they build them with you. 8. Resilience: The strength you don’t see coming Every failure I’ve faced has been a stepping stone. • Setbacks taught me grit. • Every “no” pushed me closer to my “yes.” Truth: Resilience is built in the moments you want to quit but choose to keep going. The only limit to your growth is the belief that you "can’t." Unlocking LinkedIn Growth with Jordan Murphy I recently had the pleasure of joining a Business Strategy and LinkedIn Profile Consultation with the incredible Jordan Murphy 🧠🦍. Forget the labels—introvert or extrovert, leadership doesn’t have a type. I read a study a bit back that challenged conventional wisdom about leadership—and it got me thinking. For years, we’ve been fed the idea that extroverts make the best leaders. They're seen as: • Bullish • Confident • Decisive This perception has dominated hiring decisions, workplaces and boardrooms alike. In fact, 65% of executives still believe introversion is a barrier to effective leadership. But here’s the thing: ✪ Leadership isn’t about fitting into a box. We’re all on a spectrum of behaviors—introverted one day, extroverted the next, depending on the situation. The key to leadership is not how you’re wired but how self-aware you are. Self-awareness allows us to adapt, grow, and tap into the leadership qualities that exist within all of us—regardless of where we land on the introvert-extrovert spectrum. ✪ Both introverts and extroverts have strengths that make them exceptional leaders: ↳ Introverts are great listeners and strategic thinkers, often fostering deeper, 1-on-1 relationships. ↳ Extroverts excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments, using their energy to rally teams. ✪ But here’s the truth: These traits aren’t fixed. And these terms are just bucketed characteristics. With self-awareness, both introverts and extroverts can learn from each other and evolve. It’s not about what you are but 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 as a leader. So, if you’re still thinking you don’t fit the mold → forget the mold. ✪ You define the mold. 1. Conduct an Energy Audit: Understand what fuels you, and balance your needs. Leadership is about sustainability, not burning out. 2. Leverage Active Listening: Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, mastering this skill will deepen your understanding of others and elevate team performance. 3. Empower Others: Leadership isn’t about being the loudest in the room—it’s about lifting others up and amplifying their strengths. In the end, it’s not about being introverted or extroverted—it’s about being present and self-aware. That’s the true secret to leadership.
