Every year, 1-in-8 women in the United States is affected by breast cancer. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, UNFI associates across the country joined forces to show support for those affected by the disease. Living our core value to Do The Right Thing, UNFI distribution centers organized wellness weeks, offered free screenings, and made donations to the American Cancer Society. Many also took part in community walks to support fighters, honor survivors' stories, and inspire hope while celebrating their journeys.
