At work, neurodivergent people still face challenges like stigma, burnout, and higher unemployment rates. Companies have started neurodiversity initiatives to improve the situation, but is it just marketing fluff? Rae Jacobson, from Understood.org’s Hyperfocus, digs into this with Rachel Lowenstein, a brand consultant, culture expert, and content creator who helps leaders make workplaces more inclusive. They discuss how real change can happen – and why it matters to her as a woman who is autistic. Listen to our latest Hyperfocus episode here: https://lnk.to/hyperfocus

We're so glad to be working with Learning Heroes (US) as part of the NeuroEquity Research Collaborative (NERC). NERC was established by Understood.org to advance equitable conditions for neurodivergent people. We're excited to promote their action guide for Learning and Thinking Differences: A Playbook for Schools, Service Providers & Advocates, that was released last week at our Breaking the Silos: Centering Neuroequity Through Cross-sector Collaboration Symposium.
In partnership with the NeuroEquity Research Collaborative (NERC), today we launched an expanded action guide for the field: Learning and Thinking Differences: A Playbook for Schools, Service Providers & Advocates. Established by Understood.org, the goal of the collaborative is to advance equitable conditions for neurodivergent people, especially those who are also marginalized based on other aspects of their identity.
