Making a difference, one person at a time. University of Maryland Medical Center community health worker Anthony Redd recently shared how a heartfelt conversation with an older patient helped her take control of her health. After encouraging her to take her medicine and care for herself, she returned with a hug and a heartfelt thank you. Stories like this remind us of the impact compassion can have in West Baltimore and beyond. #abetterstateofcare
